I remember visiting the /vg/ board one time and reading the undertale general thread (/utg/ for short), there was this one post in particular that stuck on my mind, and it was basically a wall of schizoposting, and there was one point in particular that he mentions how Kris would sexually assault Noelle in the weird route.

I thought "oh 4chan, never change" and was a doubter of that wise anon. I can only imagine how happy he got in proving us "wrong" all along. And it only took him 2 chapters for it.

(Now I'm just waiting for his theory of Seam actually being Sans to be right as well.)

The song that plays near the end of Chapter 4 when it's raining in hometown is a remixed version of "It's Raining Somewhere Else" from Undertale, and it's called "The Place Where It Rained". What did Toby mean by this?

I haven't had time to play the new chapters yet, but I'm curious.
Does the end of chapter 4 feel like a conclusion, or is the game just as unfinished as before?
I know that there will be 7 chapters total, but I remember reading that the later chapters would be more like DLC.

It feels like with a very good halfway point. Without delving into spoilers, chapter 3 and 4 are a good escalation of stakes and story.

I would recommend playing the game without looking at the net or any of the spoilered posts in the thread. Then come back and review it once you have gone through once in chapter 3 and 4

I was absolutely not prepared for that CH4 secret boss. Make sure you reload the game after you beat CH4.

I still have to go through CH3 and CH4 with a fine comb to make sure I didn't miss any details. I didn't do Snowgrave when replaying CH2 so I'll probably just catch some video footage of the differences. I absolutely missed The secret boss in CH3 because I didn't get an S rank at first. Does anybody know if I have to replay CH3 or if there's a way to redo rounds?

Also toriel in these chapters are adorable, especially the CH4 ending.

I kid you not, the first thing I did when I started chapter 3 was to check whether the group now has diagonal walking sprites or not. C'mon Toby, Earthbound did that decades ago.
Nitpicking aside, I'm only a little over two hours into chapter 3 so far because I haven't had much time but I'm enjoying myself a lot, Tenna is great. Say what you want about Toby's writing but it really shines through for characters like him.

As someone who generally stays away from theories or fanbases when I delve into these games, Chapters 3 and 4 were great. Worth the wait, though I still wish I didn't have to wait as long.

The only things I have to say about the spoilers is.. Is Carol using her own daughter to bring about this apocalypse for some reason? Like, yeah, it's pretty obvious the knight is Dess, but I'm wondering if Carol is a red herring here. I'll replay Chapter 4 sometime this weekend after work, see if I was just hallucinating because I stayed up until 4AM playing this.

Spoiler: Stupid fucking theory

Ok, but what if the REASON that Kris has no Soul of their own is that SOMETHING happened in the Shelter with Dess that lead to her dying/starting to die and Kris attempted to give up their soul to prevent Dess from disappearing? Because I don't know about you, but the Knight's most powerful attack looked extremely similar to God of Hyperdeath Asriel's attack. It's clear that the Soul that Kris has isn't their own soul, and it's very likely that they took the Player Soul from the Vessel because Kris can't survive on sheer Determination alone. The creation of a fountain requires a fuckload of Determination, and a Monster+Human Soul could feasibly create as many as The Knight did at once, it also accounts for the monstrous appearance that is neither human, darkner or monster.
I think Noelle's mom is a bit of a red herring to trick people at least a little.

Never got it, but I'm thinking it may only happen if after the board 2 greenroom you go left and play the 3rd board. My playthroughs I always went right to the taped off area and found Toriel which caused Tenna to meltdown.

I think it's "The Cage will give their soul to the Girl" Susie figured out that 'the red heart thing' was Kris' Soul shortly before seeing the last panel of the prophecy, not to mention the whole mural of her 'Filled with Love' which also had her with a heart shape in her.
