He always finds his way to the party from some unknown location away from Kris and Susie.

This is precisely why I don't buy the horns headband theory. Sure, you can say it's in Kris' ball of junk, but I just don't see it given Lancer and Rouxls being individual inventory items while one of the main protags is miscellaneous junk.

I think Ralsei is perhaps a manifestation of a memory of Asriel, hence why he's present in every dark world and doesn't turn to stone, he can be anywhere Kris is without needing to be a physical item. Eventually as part of the final tragedy the heroes will have to seal the last dark fountain - Castle Town, which would explain why Ralsei didn't care enough to personalise his room. He knows the prophecy (by virtue of being part of Kris, who's in cahoots with the Knight, therefore knowing the prophecy), why bother exploring your tastes and likes if you're just gonna eventually vanish?

If Ralsei was just another item darkner, how come he seems to be the only one who knows what happens in the prophecy (barring Gerson)?

King was misguided. Queen was straight up flabbergasted when Ralsei explained the roaring. And Tenna just wanted to hang out again and did stuff on Kris' request.

Also the Ralsei horns theory is actually quite popular. It's more or less accepted as canon for the time being.
Aw man, I thought I was being unique with the theory, this fandom always go one step ahead of me.
Susie's interactions with Gerson were something out of a Saturday morning cartoon. A rebellious teen is supposed to be rude to old men, not get advice from them and accept it.
I have to disagree with you on that. The dynamic between Gerson and Susie was one of the highlights of Chapter 4, and yeah, Susie was like that to Gerson in the beginning, but the development of hers took a huge leap in that chapter as well, Gerson had the patient to reach into her and that is why she felt more comfortable talking to him afterwards, he gave her the confidence in her abilities, this time being the healing magic and she got better because of it. She even says the reason why she grew to like him, because he was the only teacher who didn't make her feel stupid while teaching him, that to me is a huge compliment coming from a rebellious teenager like her.

Even then, Susie got to grow more and more as a character ever since chapter 1, she is more open to people and is willing to listen to develop herself as a Hero, that is why she easily grow to like the old man and is now carrying his legacy by getting the Justice Axe.

Toby's writing for Susie is NOT perfect, since he made her say very stupid stuff. But he hit the nail in the head on writing Susie's development in Chapter 4.

Ralsei just can't be an item Kris carries around. If he was, it wouldn't have taken him so long to step in in the second sanctuary, especially since he wants to hide the prophecy from Kris and Suzie. Whatever Ralsei is, he needs to be something that explains how he's allowed to operate in all dark worlds, and that it takes him actual time to get from one dark world to the next.

I think Ralsei may be an actual living being, but he only has a comprehensive and usable form in dark worlds. It'd explain why he can just freely fuck off to other dark worlds. If he needed to walk back to the school to re-enter that dark world to find out Susie made second sanctuary, it might also explain why it took so long for him to appear despite first and second sanctuary being in the exact same location.
