I admit I voted for it on that poll because I hadn't heard or played the other games on it. It shouldn't have been put on that poll at all with all the hype surrounding it. There should have been a minimum 1 year since release rule or something to remove the possibility of hype swaying the results. If that poll came out around the time of FNAF and that was an option, that would have been voted the best game of all time.
I don't know, maybe it is his "attitude"? I don't really know. It isn't really politics, it's more like the behaviour itself. Just like Garry Newman from Garry's Mod. Something very peculiar with attitude, and probably with "just happening to be everywhere", even when both men don't want to be everywhere. Otherwise, I have a begrudging respect.

It's hard to put into words, I guess I don't like something about him. While it may look like envy, initially, it's something that makes me think he has something of a "funny mememan" image that I think it's fake.

I see what you’re saying; though if his pre-Undertale work is any indication, his shitpost/mememan sense of humor is completely genuine. It’s funny looking back at 2015/2016 interviews where he has this unrestrained “lol XD” personality (indicative of someone in their early 20s who spent a lot of time on pre-SJW Tumblr) and now, where he actually tries to be formal and professional.

This is exactly my point of view. Despite my personal shortcomings (which can be practically nothing) against the person, let's see if he can make a good product. I know he has no control over his fandom, and I will not blame him for that.
Yeah I think I get what you mean. After I saw this clip and "The Baby Is You" track fron his Homestuck days, I feel like I'd be personally annoyed by his sense of humor and antics, but otherwise it's harmless and I don't get that "bad feeling" I get with other people, just mild personal annoyance.
And in case someone asks "WHY???": I don't know. Maybe I just liked the concept. Which makes me say I like parts of the game, mainly Toriel, Asgore and even Asriel. Yet other parts I think I should give a try.

I don't see how this is different compared to Friday Night Funkin AUs/Mods since those were pretty popular then and now still. And even then AU stuff is pretty typical for any fans of any media.
