Undertale

Toby is probably getting pressured by Twitter and game journos to explicitly announce that Kris is "non-binary" rather than merely ambiguous.
Doesn't matter. He's probably going to get cancelled anyway once the flakier parts of Twitter cotton onto the fact that the No Mercy run involves gaslighting a mentally scarred cinnamon roll into becoming a sadomasochistic killer.

"TOBY SUPPORTS ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS," and all that jazz.

On another note now that I've played Chapter 2 myself, I really wish Ralsei kept the hat. Same goes for Susie's hair to a lesser extent.
It's the pink horns/eyes right?
Why Toby went with pink is anyone's guess.

Susie's hair got cut during the King fight and it kinda went over to the lightner world.

like the halloween pencil or the watch

Kris and Ralsei being a thing is so weird and uncomfortable because they are practically brothers, with Ralsei being the alternate universe version of Asriel, who is Kris' older brother.

I thought it was just another ship by the fandom but I guess I was wrong.
You're looking too much into their relationship. Like Ralsei said, he's never had friends up to this point. It would make sense he would get so attached to the ones he made.

I feel like you're applying that "they're good friends, so they must be gay for each other" logic to this for no reason.

Wasn't the original person purposefully kept ambiguous so guys and girls could better project themselves into the character and pretend they were a guy/girl? Sort of like how you see many Japanese game protags without eyes, so they can better project themselves in as the character. I sincerely doubt he's going to about-face the character from being ambiguous to non-binary because that would require slapping a gender onto them before making them non-binary. As for who fucks who I don't give a fuck, I just want to see where he's going with this story.

Funny enough, couple of choices will make you polygamous.

Screw shipping. Ralsei, SUSie, Noelle. Hit them all! (Except berdly. Fuck berdly lol.)

You bet your ass I hugged my goat brother because he's my goat brother.

Chapter 2 was pretty good. Felt a bit more difficult than the first one but I could just be awful at games like this. Susie/Noelle is blatantly Undyne/Alphys 2.0 and feels kinda ham-fisted but it doesn't bother me too much. Noelle really doesn't have much character outside of "I like Susie" though, so I hope Toby expands on her like he did with Berdly not just being an annoying nerd. Very curious to see how things unfold from here.

Also I've got Spamton's theme stuck in my head.

I get what you're going for but I still think the boat ride scene is really uncomfortable.

I was fine with their interactions for the entirety of chapter 1 which I already insinuated at the end of my reply.

But in this case, it just feels weird and I feel like I'm not the only person that shares that opinion.

It's a mix between the way the dialogue is written and Ralsei's new portraits, now I know he blushes outside of the boat ride but still, it didn't make the scene any better.

Either way, if you think I'm looking into it too much or not, you still can agree that it will inspire the creation of more weird ship art between the two.

I mean, he had moments in chapter 1 as well. If you stood close/facing him like you were making them kiss or touch, he'd start blushing after awhile. If you give him the white ribbon you have the option to call him cute and he reacts embarrassedly to that, etc.

Gotta say, the OST for chapter 2 is an absolute banger. I've only got a few tracks I like from chapter 1, but I can't find a track I don't like from chapter 2.

Chapter 2 was fun, but Deltarune so far isn't grabbing me the same way Undertale did when it came out. Maybe its because of the chapters being released in sections?

Oh and...

Turning Noelle into a killer in the Pipis/Snowgrave route was interesting.

The genocide route was a lot more interesting to me than the boring and repetitive recruiting/pacifist route.

The twist was so massive for one chapter, and given that there are 5 more chapters left, can't wait to see where the genocide route story goes. oh who am I kidding, noelle and susie are gonna be the ultimate violent faggot couple and kill everyone to get with each other, given how susie goes into her room for "some time" (implied sex)

Except I can't stand the SJW crap and Noelle's faggotry. At least in the normal route birdly breaks the faggotry cringe by jumping in from time to time

i still don't particularly understand why this happens. there's no real lead up to it, she just sort of goes in the room then they don't hear from her for god knows how long that was.
i honestly didn't care much for the susie and noelle stuff.

kinda hated how sudden and forced it felt just because there were potential implications in the first chapter. what happened to leaving stuff up for interpretation?

My take is susie becomes interested in noelle after she becomes violent
Specially since she comes out of the room and tells kris that she heard from noelle and encourages him with "let's kick ass together"

that would make the whole romance subplot more tolerable really.
Not only does it make sense with susie's violent nature, but it'll make things more interesting in the long run too.

What the fuck are you talking about? What implied sex? Susie goes into Noelle's room, and comes out a long while later more uncomfortable that she spoke to Noelle about Noelle killing things to get stronger than if they had had sex. Hell, even after leaving the Dark World and going to the hospital to see Noelle, Susie is still clearly oblivious (if not more so than on her own route) that Noelle wants to fuck her.

I 100% believe that Noelle confided in Susie that she slaughtered countless darkners to get stronger and that she's justifying it to herself by saying it's all just a dream and there are no consequences to her actions here, but Susie knows it's not a dream.

I do agree with you to an extent, but it's the fact that it wasn't done in Chapter 1 at all that gets me, and I can't remember a single instance of Undertale referring to Frisk as "they", only stuff like "the human", maybe I'm blanking on it but it just seems like it's a change that's been forced in more than anything.
Honestly I don't think referring to Kris as "they" is pushing woke nonbinary agenda. It just seems like a way to make the character identifiable with both the ladies and the gentlemen. I don't think it's needed because guys can identify with female characters and vice versa, but fair enough I guess. It doesn't really affect the game so for now I'd give it a pass.

anyways boy i do not look forward to people probably making "transgender" headcanons for Spamton / Spamton Neo, like they did for mettaton
Mettaton was flamboyant as fuck. Spamton doesn't give off that vibe so I think he'll be fine-ish... then again anything the troons touch turns to [Piles of Sludge]
