i've just realized
by removing the rose, doesn't it make deflowering permanent?
his response to the rose losing its petals was to remove all traces of it after it happening
he could've just.... kept the rose and not make it do that, but he instead made its fate a further degradation of it
by removing it, he basically makes it so it can't be seen through any playthrough in anyone's game
I don't like Noelle since she's an annoying one-note thirsty girl and the game is clearly pushing a romance between Susie and Noe, as poor Kris is literally a non-entity.
Chapter 1 and 2 I was already not too keen on her; because I'm a KrisxSusieCHAD; but chapter 4 made me really fucking hate Noelle.
Especially when you get to her house. She's completely ignores Kris when he's there and even gets disheartened upon initially finding out he's gonna tag along.
Then you have this part if you wait before strumming the guitar.
Kris the weirdo, lone human in a town of monsters. Quiet kid, trouble expressing himself. Just happy to have a friend; maybe even a little crush from the blushing; and now seemingly wants that friendship back since they drifted apart once Asriel went to college.
Come find out, Noelle has barely even thought of him as a friend this whole time.
I think from the long talk with Noelle from Ch2 and some other parts of the game; like giving Noelle the gift; it can be inferred that Kris wants to go back to the time when he used to hang out with Asriel because other people would hang out with him by proxy of wanting to hang out with Asriel. Which means they were forced to be his friend too.
Now that Asriel left for college, he was back to being the loner weirdo again. Which meant no one was forced to play nice with him anymore. You see him in Ch1, when he enters the class it falls silent, Alphys doesn't want to deal with him, no one wants to partner with him. Ch2 you see 'his friends' shit talking him behind his back, etc.
My first instinct in Ch3 and 4 was that maybe Carol was blackmailing Kris to do his bidding; like maybe he still has 'a plan' of his own; but I don't think he's being blackmailed.
I think he's going along with it willingly, he just wants to go back to a simpler time.
My previous guess as to how the festival will go has changed somewhat.
How I imagine the festival is gonna go: >Kris and Susie show up together to pick up Noelle
>Noelle mad at Kris for being there (with the way Susie worded the invite, she thought only Susie would be there)
>Festival has Noelle trying to get rid of Kris, Susie having none of it (Noelle getting madder at Kris, Susie getting annoyed with Noelle)
>Kris wins/buys a price (Give it to Noelle, Susie thinks it a romance thing. Give it to Susie, Noelle thinks it's a romance thing.)
>either way, misunderstanding has Noelle premium mad, tells Kris to fuck off, Susie in turn tells Noelle fuck off
>you repair the friendships because Kris doesn't know what the fuck to do and this was the one thing he wanted to avoid
>Kris finally starts trusting you with his plan to double cross the knight
>there is no romance, you all agree to be friends
>every shipper drinks bleach
>Toby breathes a sigh of relief "Finally...."
I think it'll play out somewhat similarly to how I envisioned it, except I think when Noelle tells Kris to fuck off and wanders back to the festivities he'll rip you out and throw you away and run off depressed as fuck. Your goal is to then cheer him the fuck up. Once you do, he'll realise he needs to stop living in the past chasing fake friendships because now he has real friends and he'll stop working for Carol. This is when Susie comes in to big up her homie.
It'll be kino as fuck, trust in the me that trusts in Toby 'the dyke rape correction gigachad' Fox lol
Oh, wow. I didn't even notice that while I was trying to stop Kris from swatting me. I just assumed that it would be more shitty yuribait.
That's grim. No wonder she uses ice magic. I thought that that one blogpost in the sweepstakes was pretty bad. This appears to be Toby making that behaviour canon.
I was disappointed that the church in Chapter 4 didn't have any interesting morals (especially regarding humans). Looks like I got my wish after all...
Yeah. I wondered who put that in.
I assumed that someone from 4chan got into the team.
Dess's room is very similar to her portrayals on 4chan. I didn't look at how reddit or twitter portrayed her though so it may be a unanimous thing.
Schizo theory time, I believe that the wiffle bat is a reference to a particularly perverse greentext. Some other items resemble Dess x Asriel greentext stories I've seen.
E: People keep bringing up Hussie. I think that I've finally twigged onto why.
This may be DELTARUNE's "I feel so Caucasian!" moment.
It's honestly kind of interesting that the only route where Noelle sees Kris as a true friend they are happy to see is the same route where both Kris and Noelle are being horribly puppeted by some cosmic entity beyond their imaginations into doing things both of them hate. It's clear from Kris' actions that despite the fact everyone treats him like dirt (including his own mother, if his barren room is any indication), he does care a great deal about the people around him.
Funny how Noelle only seems to care about Kris in the Weird Route.
Suffering builds breeds character.

I think its worse than that, in the context of the scene Susie started to read something romantic into Noelle and Kris going on a ferries wheel together. Susie was interested if it was romantic or not since she and Noelle went of a ferries wheel wide in the Dark World.
So she's just lying to try to get into Susie's pants by devaluing and downplaying the time she spent with Kris.
After all we do see how she interacts with Kris when they're alone in chapter 2, and she's friendly to him.
Ehrm... don't you insensitive CHUDS know that "degeneracy" is a common alt-right racist grifter dogwhistle used to discriminate against sex positivity and divergent folx?
But seriously, does this nigga even write his own dialogue? Is he really backpedaling on his own choices after release like a cuck or is someone else writing for him? Did some PR team tell him that was a no-no word? But don't they check that stuff before the game is out?
if you played undertale enough you'd know that wasn't a "fan pairing". He literally just found the locked door she guards in the basement and was knocking on it telling jokes to her and shit and that started a relationship.
man chapter 3 was a fucking snoozefest, tenna is funny for the first 15 seconds, so much dialogue thats completely pointless and retarded and the "minigames" (hard to even call them that when they comprise half of the total playtime of the chapter) are boring as hell, they get really repetitive really quickly. at least the setup for the beginning of ch4 was decent.
glad i pirated instead of buying because im not paying 30 bucks for this
edit: also i was surprised how casually and out of nowhere they dropped an explanation for undertale hidden entry 17. dark darker yet darker, photon readings negative - this is obviously referring to the creation of dark worlds according to what ralsei said. im tempted to think gaster was researching how to produce this "negative light" and accidentally turned himself into a darkner. he could easily have some relation to the roaring knight

I mean, considering that it seems like Kris is kinda treated like trash for just being a little weird, then poor Chara would've been even more fucked during the events that lead to Undertale.
Not only would the whole human souls to break the barrier thing be in effect, but the odds there are fairly likely that the human monster war was still probably fairly fresh in the minds of the other residents of the Underground.
Let's also not forget the fact that monsters can do some tremendously fucked up shit if they think it will help them out. (Putting aside the murder of children, everything about True Lab is dark as fuck, even if Alphys herself is a goofy dipshit, its fairly blatant she wasn't the one who established it)
What can you expect from a race ruled by a family with the last name that is an anagram of "Murderer" .
Toby does love his anagrams, Undertale -> Deltarune
So why can Asriel Dreemurr be made into Serial Murderer?
It's never sat right with me.
One of the things I immediately noticed about that character's design was the hands had holes in them very similar to the brief rng easter egg appearance of gaster in undertale.
So I played Undertale (and liked it) and chapter 1 of DeltaTroon (and thought it was meh), and seeing you guys talk about new DeltaRune chapters (I don't care about spoilers, I don't want to play it) seems nearly incomprehensible. Is the story actually that convoluted or am I missing something?
I never played the other ones because I saw trailers for Ch 2 and it looked like terminally online zoomer slop humor, or maybe "millenial writing stuff to appeal to brain-dead zoomers" style, especially with the Queen, and I hate that kind of stuff.
It also seems like most of the characters are very unlikeable or purposefully written to be cruel or mean. And the guy you play as is evil and RAPES a girl?
Weird ass game, man.
I follow Toby on twitter though and it's kinda funny seeing him try to appeal to his Cool New Japanese Friends (who probably think tranny shit is weird and unnatural) and his embarrassing oldtroon fanbase at the same time.
A lot of the points he made I've seen echoed elsewhere, such as the lesbian romance being cringy or Snowgrave being superior. While it's obvious to anyone outside of certain cliques that Kris is a male, Toby has tried to push the they/them thing, there's clips of him at some gamecon constantly correcting these 2 presenters using a TTS program. I agree with his concerns about there being a troon on the team and feature creep as well, hopefully it's not taken so long just for a bunch of one-time gimmick mini-games. The gimmick characters were shit and Ralsei looked better as a nigger. I didn't like Susie overall though, she was a bitch in the first chapter, her suddenly being Kris' best friend despite attacking him in the school hallway the day prior was weird and I have a feeling it's going to turn out she has either abusive or absent parent figures. Noelle's an interesting chracter, I hope Toby does something like have her realise her attraction to Susie was only because she wanted to be protected or something like that.
I don't feel like becoming more retarded than I already am, does this faggot make a single good point of refutation towards the "Chapter 2 Sucks" video?
Considering that he titled the video "The Destruction of a Bigot" I'm going to guess "fuck no"
The fact that Susie went from "actual bully" to "uwu edgy but not really" girl in the span of a single fucking day in universe is highly unbelievable. Like, I don't care if the bully thing was a facade she put on to protect herself, those sorts of things don't crack in a single day. Susie shouldn't suddenly let down her facade when in her own fucking words she mentions that people would pretend to be her friend as a joke.
Just like in the Hazbin Hotel thread, I am starting to wish Doom Slayer existed here, and killed every entity. Rate me autistic, but something tells me it would be amusing. To be different, let's say Duke Nukem instead - and how he would put pussies and dickheads in their own place.
At this point, I don't know what to say. But it is something which it "what happens next". Literally.
