Undertale

Someone out there probably already was autistic enough to research which flags in your save files determine how many eggs you collected.
Use Spamton Save Editor to save time.

Watch, the true ending will only be obtainable with the Twisted Sword (requires Thorn Ring, and by extension aborted Snowgrave) and all eggs (the Chapter 2 egg can’t be obtained while on Snowgrave so you have to backtrack after aborting, and the Chapter 3 egg requires you to not fight Zapper specifically)
I bet that sword will be obtainable in the evil route, after fully possessing Noelle.

As far as shipping Noelle with anybody goes, she's just toxic waste manifest as a person. You can't do anything productive with it and if you let it do its own thing it just fucks things up. Her natural state is needing constant protection(Rudy), or being walked all over(berdly/Snowgrave/Carol). As soon as you let her do her own thing she starts pulling shit like lusting after Susie cause she reminds her of her sister, and also has a fetish for the idea of Susie bullying her.

The only time you can do anything productive with her is if you're actively trying to be anti-productive and just cause as much harm as possible(Snowgrave), and even then you're still just walking all over her.
And yet, that's what wokes like to see in a character.

Come on, she's not that bad. Most if not all of that can be explained as unhealthy coping mechanisms for her living situation:
1. Mother is as strict as ever, seemingly only cares about her academic success and doesn't bother talking with her about feelings. Might also be involved in some shady business if knight/phonecall theories are considered.
2. Father, who's the only family figure she can confide in, is dying of monster AIDS.
3. Sister is MIA, presumed dead. She's either intentionally kept in the dark about details behind her disappearance, or it was traumatic enough for her to never attempt remembering it.
4. The boy she likes[1] has unilaterally cut off all contact with her.
Despite all that, she still manages to fair well both socially and academically, and actually shows some resolve (e.g. when she calls out Queen in chapter 2); I've seen plenty of people both real and fictional that lose exponentially more spaghetti in subjectively better situations. All she needs is a hug and for someone to call her out on her Susie siscon bullshit.

[1] I am fairly convinced she still has feelings for Kris, romantic or not. Lotta small things here and there hint at it, from chapter 2 interactions, to having his photo as a wallpaper and a cactus named after him, to the way she leans towards him in a room with windowblinds deliberately closed in weird route. If we put that "forced" line she says to Susie on one side of weight scales, and all that on the other, I think the latter would outweight the former.

You know, a lot of people think that Ralsei changing the lyrics of Raise Up Your Bat is just him being "wholesome" but it might just be him attempting to keep the actual words hidden from Kris and Susie. Especially relevant if the knight really is Dess.
It's a funny visual gag for the player because we can see the lyrics change in real time, but it's not like Kris and Susie would've been able to see the original lyrics. That fucking goat.

You could argue his actions (or lack thereof) were cowardly, but they were still calculated decisions with good intentions, and he’s still remorseful when faced with the consequences. Toriel’s response being “no fuck you I still hate you” really shows how much of a selfish cunt she is in hindsight, but what she wants just happens to involve being nice to human children.
I think the answer is very deliberately messy as to whose fault it is or isn't and the entire situation was fucked on both of their ends. Asgore made a heated furious decision in the moment to declare a total fatwa on human scum, his wife, who was also grieving just as much, reacted very poorly and saw it as a wedge between the two of them that could never be reconciled.

She was wrong for abandoning Asgore when he needed her most. If she had simply stuck with him, she was the queen after all, I have no doubt she could have easily gotten him to call off the war, admit he was wrong, and find a more peaceful solution. This would require her to be in totally the right mind after the immediate death of her son, though, which neither of them were.

On that same token, Asgore is a fucking retard who can't commit to either his people or his war. He clings to the past equally as hard as Toriel is too quick to move past it and abandon everything she once had.

She tells him he could have taken the first soul and left the barrier to acquire 7 more and I think this is misconstrued a bit as her being cool with him killing 7 people the 'right way' or 'her way' and I think that's a bit unfair, she's just telling him he's retarded and solving the problem with an act infinitely more heinous AND cheating his own people out of their freedom by not solving the issue like he said he would but ALSO murdering literal children, which is a fact I think is also weirdly glossed over.

The big split happened because their son was murdered. Now here is Asgore repeating that same crime X7 and murdering someone else's child, inflicting the same grief that they felt on human families multiple times over. If he left the barrier there are several different ways he could have gone about acquiring souls that didn't require inflicting the exact same pain they suffered on other people. Kill criminals, get some donations, raid an old folks home or the terminally ill, I don't know.

You argue he is making the best choice for his people and he feels so guilty he holds himself back and basically suicides to Frisk as a noble thing, that's fucking awful. He inflicted all that pain on six innocent lives and kills himself rather than finally complete what he had initially promised to do because he's a coward and can't finish what he starts, just like Toriel says. Maybe that's mean but, again, he's a literal child murderer. Even worse he's already killed 6 kids and bitches out at the 7th because going to war is too scary for him. All this internal turmoil he is in could stop if he just had the balls to call it off.

Toriel isn't perfect, she's very flawed, in some ways the situation is also her fault. I understand that Deltarune being more recent makes Toriel seem worse since she is so shitty to a version of Asgore that hasn't done something that heinous, which I think is Toby sort of reacting to his whitewashed Toriel was back when Undertale came out, but I think the Asgore apologia is kind of looking to retroactively make his Undertale appearance better or undeserving of the shit he gets and I don't think that's really fair either. The fact he gets to go out and live a peaceful life despite the blood on his hands is a pretty kind reward. You can even end the game saying you think he and Toriel will get back together some day.

TL;DR neither Asgore or Toriel are perfect but Asgore does indeed deserve the shit he gets in Undertale. A rushed ending and lack of plot focus means Toriel doesn't really get her flaws examined. That's what Deltarune is doing.
Come on, she's not that bad. Most if not all of that can be explained as unhealthy coping mechanisms for her living situation:
Noelle shitting on her and Kris's relationship offended a lot of people but it's her kind of trying to play it off because her crush is around, and it's not really her fault that Noelle and him stopped hanging out. We didn't control Kris before literally three days ago, him being a weird sperg who just stopped talking to her altogether after the incident is on him. She doesn't seem to hold any animosity towards Kris at all and clearly misses his involvement in her life.
The part where you guys play and obsess over one of the shittiest games to come out in the last 20 years.
Yeah man please be more aloof and too cool for school that makes you seem very smart for hating [Popular thing]. It even makes up for having zero personality or interesting things to say.

Sword looks like a bat when first summoned; first attack are exploding snowflakes; antlers;

This checks out. Knight is definitely Dess.

I don't know if this is a common idea or if there are more obvious connections to it, but I've been thinking that Delta Rune reminds me of Twin Peaks.
The whole normal/light world and strange other/dark world. The grey morality. The missing teen. Weird stuff going on without much explanation.
I even feel like the concept of Bob and "fire walk with me" is kinda similar to some themes going on in DR, especially in the weird route.
If you want a really fun possible influence go look up the book The Talisman by Stephen King/Peter Straub. Early teen (iirc) boy in a light world/dark world situation that works very similar to Deltarune's where the protagonist winds up making friends with a dark-world fanged dog/werewolf thing that's significantly taller than him. Stuff carried between the worlds changes forms too and this is a huge plot point. Also the primary macguffin (the titular talisman) is a pure crystal. I can't remember because it's been 20 years since I read it but I'm pretty sure there's a bunch of stuff about being bound to prophecy etc because it's Stephen King so it'd be suprising if that wasn't a plot point.
