Undertale

If monsters still bleed, then why does that kid in the apartment building ask if it "hurts to be made of blood?"

Additional random thought; Asriel has the hots for busty purple dragons in immodest clothing, going by the book in dresser. Is cool college-age Asriel going to show up and steal Susie from Noelle and Kris? Or is that Kris's book, and Asriel just checked it out for him? Regardless, someone is going to find out if she's got a tail or not.

Either way the deer gets the chair

I always thought of this as monster by monster basis, with some of the more fleshy and humanoid monsters like susie bleeding while others like Grilby and the fire girl wouldn't. To as for why would Sans bleed (if is his blood is in fact not ketchup) and Papyrus wouldn't...
its magic.webp

I mean Asriel was apparently so embarrassed by renting it that he never returned it, according to Berldy it's like 4 years overdue.

My guess is that Asriel didn't actually get it... for himself. Or at least Asriel wasn't the one using it. :smug:

He'll probably be visibly jealous of Kris.
Asriel got it so he could manifest the dragon needed for the prophecy by taking a drawing of it to the dark world
please, oh please let "how to draw dragons" be a load-bearing plot device

Gonna be honest, the jokey prophecies appearing amongst the real ones in Chapter 3 sums up one of my major issues with Toby's writing.
He just can't let anything be serious for too long.
ancient prophecies are a plot device so old and tired im glad he isnt trying to play it completely straight and is at least milking some lulz out of it. the resulting memes have been some of the funniest shit

I enjoy it. It doen't really take away anything at all from the tragic or serious aspects of the plot, and humor helps caring for the characters and the world they're in.
