Let's not forget, Aaron Springer helped make some of the show's best episodes in the golden years, including the legendary Band Geeks. Using him as a scapegoat because of the episodes he was involved in during the later years (where he didn't have C. H. Greenblatt to help him, so he had to work with other, weaker writers) is totally unfair.

I used to like Waller for his artwork, but I began to doubt him when I saw his bitchy political takes on Twitter, and since he's started shitting out spin-offs and acting like Stephen would be proud of them, I've pretty much lost all respect for him.

You're right on that one, I forgot Aaron can actually make some pretty decent cartoons with the right crew and budget like Korgoth and Billy Dilly, I should've just put Robert Ryan Cory in there instead, considering how much disturbing stuff he's put in Spongebob, and that one time he berated fans on 4Chan who rightfully criticized him for it.

He just comes off like a very unpleasant and mean spirited individual who's only in it for the money by making countless reboots and essentially pissing on the grave of a dead guy.

So in short, i feel like Vincent is the truly the one behind Spongebob's downfall...

Yeah, that's what I was talking about when I mentioned "bitchy political takes". As well as bitchy takes in general.

Not that I don't like his past work, mind you. Again, I think he used to have genuine talent, but it seems like he pushed it aside to whore out Stephen Hillenburg's creation in ways he likely wouldn't have approved of, yelling orange man bad shit, running his creativity into the ground, and being a general asshole.

Fun Fact: He was among John K's inner circle for a time, quitting Ren and Stimpy after Johnny boy was fired for being a shithead, then returning to work with him for his Yogi shorts and Adult Party Cartoon. Make of that what you will.

I prefer seasons 5-8 spongebob than the overly cartoonish wrap that’s been aired recently, also the show is just a weaker ripoff of Rockos modern life and is incredibly bland recently. End it now and all it’s shite spinoffs.

You should, it was like a spiritual successor to R&S with a lot of adult jokes and risqué humour aimed at older audiences whilst still being silly and cartoony enough for kids. It was hugely influential to the boom of creative 90s cartoons and shows like spongebob and a lot of CN shows wouldn’t exist without it.
