Chris simply does not have the necessary theory of mind to grasp other people thinking different thoughts that do not in some way relate to him. Cobbling together what he vaguely understands, he has defined empathy as a combination of pity and guilt. It's no surprise that his rolodex of emotions are almost entirely negative or manipulative. I agree. Unless Catie is 7 feet tall, a hug wouldn't result in face-to-tit contact without Chris bending down and trying to motorboat her.

I think she was more repulsed by Chris IRL and creeped out than mad at him.
Also, I don't think she wanted to be violent with an exceptional individual.

Chris always says "put yourself in my shoes, see how I am feeling about this" but at no point does he ever actually put himself in someone else's shoes, and I wish some "girlfriend" would point that out. I wish Catie could have replied "put yourself in my shoes Chris, imagine there is a friend you have that wants a relationship and all you want is friendship. All you have said is that you want to be friends with them and you do not want to be with them in a way that they are trying to force you to be. Can you imagine how heartbreaking and frustrating it is to have a friend try and force sex and a relationship on you?" But then I know, from Chris's previous emails with people like Kacey, that Chris would just say that if a woman wanted a relationship with him, he'd be fine with it. I think he said something like "A man raping a woman is terrible, but I think if a woman tried to have sex with me, I'd be ok with it. It wouldn't be rape".

There are unreleased emails from recently in which Chris basically says that he's fine with raping a woman if he deserves her enough. He states that if he wants sex enough, that he would just take it forcibly from a woman, "Catie" in this instance.

I....please tell me he doesn't explicitly say he's fine with the idea of forcing himself on someone, that he just picked his words REALLY poorly and that's how it came across
And please tell me he wasn't talking to Catie herself when he was saying that. No one needs to hear that shit, especially if its directed at them

When accused of just wanting Catie for sex, Chris defended himself by saying that if he had wanted Catie just for sex, he would have forced himself upon her and gotten the sex from her regardless of what she had wanted or felt. But, Chris didn't just want her for sex, so that's why he didn't just rape her, according to Chris's explanation.

He said this to Catie? Really?!?!?

I don't think Chris has the physical ability to force himself on someone, but the fact that he doesn't see it as wrong is just....well, worse than I would expect from Chris. You'd expect him to have at least a basic idea of right and wrong. I guess he doesn't though.

EDIT: I'm not sure how you'd force someone to trib either. The mind boggles.

This either implies Chris is now banned for trying to rape women in the greater C-ville area on sight or he's got some weird-ass open love concept towards all women (because if you are a woman then you have china that Chris desperately wants), both of which we know are impossibilities.
