I decided to check out the PS4 games on PS and profiles, and it looks like none of them are working. For all we know at least for now, Chris already has a PS four and is playing games but we won't be able to tell yet until PS and start showing trophies for it.

I'm putting all my c-quarters on Knack showing up in his trophies when the PS4 thing is resolved. Do you know how expensive it is to smuggle untainted bottled water into CWCville with Magi-Chan reading peoples minds and then publicly executing them if he finds out they jaywalked once? Chris never bothered to create a sanitation department so the bodies rot in the street.

The Chandlers do have an HDMI TV. Remember the big screen in Fatty's room?

Isn't the consensus, though, that Chris isn't allowed to play his vidya anywhere but the living room any more because Barb doesn't trust him to his own devices (in both senses of the word)?

They may have dragged that thing into the living room and set it up there on top of the old television, but I'm sure it weighs a grand number of pounds and Chris would avoid that effort if he could. Then again, maybe his PS4 delay is because he's right now tunneling through the hoard to reach his HDMI television.

Don't forget that if a PsQuad was underneath the 2ton dog house acting as a barrier to Pattie's grave, he would have suddenly become the strongest man in the world.

Nope. The PS4 is HDMI only. Sony wants to put an end to people ripping HD video from the component outputs.

Yeah, but he'll only do the bare minimum to get what he wants. If his HDMI television is in the bedroom where he isn't allowed any more and the living room television is in standard definition, he'd just play his ps3 games in standard def. The HDMI only PS4 will force him to drag his HDMI television into the living room, but that will probably take him some time.

Never under-estimate Fatty's drive to pleasure himself.
They only thing more important to him then his sweet-heart is his vidya; and even then folks would be split on which he considers more necessary.

The only thing I am sure of is that he will do what ever it takes, literally. Theft, lies, blackmail ect to land himself a life-up-grade.

Though...the most likely scenario is that he waddles down to Bust Buy and slaps down a near maxed credit card and BAMPF! Insta-chubby!

And hey, if a PS4 will bring him a glimmer of light into his increasingly dark world I say let Fatty enjoy what little joy he can scrape out of it.

I can't imagine Chris and Barb sharing a TV.

Barb was complaining about his games being too violent, so he's definitely playing them on a TV in the same room as her. (I assume she wouldn't bother trying to peek at a handheld)
That's not to say it's impossible that they have multiple TVs blaring at full blast in their shared room, because something as redneck as that is definitely not beneath them.

Chris could use the second TV to play games on mute or with headphones. He has difficulty following dialogue and plot anyways so it wouldn't be much of a change. I'd think the bigger problem is when Barb wants the lights out so she can sleep. Chris probably has to shut the PS3 or handheld off. Just laying in the dark alone with his... thought.

Could it be his brand loyalty? Maybe he's sticking with the PS3 and hates the PS4 for competing with his one true life upgrade? It's just illogical enough to be something he would do.

Now there's a thought, how long until Chris makes his own fake credit cards?

That would make sense if he didn't drop an assload of cash he didn't have to get the PS Vita day one with a ton of games when he already had TWO PSPs

Maybe the PSQuadruple is why he isn't on Facebook making ultimatums right now. He's too busy playing the Sony equivalent of Barbie Horse Princess Adventures; or at least buying/downloading all the DLC for it.
That takes time and concentration.

Though the potential for lulz would have been great with golden era Chris, I can't help but feel these days he'd just disable any comments and it would end up like that mind numbingly tedious video of him playing Animal Crossing on the Gamecube. Does anybody really want to watch him play Knack?

Without him talking it wouldn't be that interesting. I mean, unless he's amazingly bad or plays something that presents moral choices that aren't obviously good or bad. Pretty sure he avoids games like that though.
