Even if you piss off a judge, proportionality is a fundamental principle of law, maybe *the* fundamental principle of law.

And if you think the plaintiff is asking for a remedy way out of proportion to the damage done, the courtroom is the place for you to make that argument. If you refuse to participate in the suit, then the plaintiff's claim goes uncontested.

Lawsuit where you participate:

Plaintiff: The defendant hurt me real bad. I want $10m.
Defendant: That's retarded, I only broke his toe. That's like $25K worth of damage at most.
Judge: Hmm, good argument, defendant, but you're lowballing IMO. I award the plaintiff $50K plus $10K punitive damages.

Lawsuit where you don't participate:

Plaintiff: The defendant hurt me real bad. I want $10m.
Defendant: *crickets*
Judge: Well, the defendant doesn't object to paying you $10m, so you get $10m plus $5m punitive damages.

Hm.I do not know the details for the case, but i know according to alex(yes i know, take his words with bags of salt), he complied fully with all that was asked of him.The deepstate just wants to fuck him...
What happened is Alex Jones was asked to provide his text messages as evidence. His lawyers said it didn't exist, but then they sent evidence of it by accident to the lawyers representing the Sandy Hook families. Deceiving the court like that is a huge no-no. You can't do that.

I know people think this judgment is horseshit and all that, but Alex Jones and his lawyers were retarded. Textbook case of "what not to do when facing a huge lawsuit."

I'm sitting out here in the field taking a break and looking out at the sky and the fields, and I saw a vulture coming looking for a meal. He flew around the field, perched in the trees, and then flew off. I thought "truly this world is beautiful, and Gods grace is in everything and everywhere". Remember to stop, look around and appreciate that sometimes. I just wanted to say that before I leave, have a good day everyone.

Alex Jones fucked himself over by playing stupid legal games.
Can I get a spoonfeed on where to find information on these legal games he was playing?

According to Alex, he gave them everything they wanted, and they ruled against him because he didn't turn over a document that he didn't have, and couldn't access, and that they needed to subpoena Google for. The judge then used that to claim he was in contempt of court and did the summary judgement.
Now, Alex is obviously a biased source, but the discourse from the others outside of this thread has been "he's a mean man who bullied the Sandy Hook parents and deserves to be bankrupt for life over it," which is not helpful or convincing information.

Regardless, $1 billion is an unconstitutionally high fine for Alex, regardless of any alleged fuckery, and should have been fixed at the higher courts. And it doesn't help his opposition that they have some DNC-aligned former feds spearheading this, and have explicitly been saying they want to destroy his life. But I would still appreciate any information on how he fucked himself over, because I'd prefer to not just spout bullshit when discussing this with others.

EDIT: Looks like you posted it while I was typing

This would definitely get someone fucked in court. Still think $1 billion is way too high, but will look into this shit more.

This is going to be a great before and after.
She posted another video answering comments she go but took it and the original down before I could download it. Guess people were finding out where she was shopping at and car model and it made her reconsider being an attention whore.

Yeah, that's basically what happened.
It really isn't. The whole situation is fucked. Alex Jones had every right to question the things he did. There's a lot of sketchy things that went on after Sandy Hook and with the families and various charitable organizations and with the school building afterwards. Even then, Alex Jones has a decades long reputation as a conspiracy theory schizo retard. He is not a reputable news source. He is essentially a psycho schizo tabloid magazine and that's been his reputation for years prior to the lawsuit. Nobody takes him seriously and it's impossible to prove genuine damages as a result because his own credibility tarnished.

Meanwhile TPTB got to pander this completely false narrative about Trump and Russia that had real world consequences and possibly cost him an election and they receive virtually no punishment. Fuck off, Jones might be a retard but this was a political hit job through and through. What did Jones' schizo theories actually amount to at the end of the day? Some parents got butthurt because crazy guy known to be crazy says their kids dying in shooting was some false flag government psyop so they sue him because their feelings got hurt? That somehow justified billions of dollars and obliterating this man's company and silencing him? Get real.

best chance would be if one of the accounts that Elon interacts with most these days (I'm not sure who that is) either posting the screenshots of nikita saying anti-maga stuff while buddying up with the leftist calling for Elon's death , or retweeting that.
IDK how long nikita has been at the company but if he's quite a new hire then manybe.
It really doesn't matter how long he's been there, agreeing with death threats/wishes against your boss is not a great path to job security.

Jones might be a retard but this was a political hit job through and through.
Absolutely. It was basically down to: "Say anything we don't like and you'll get punished so severely that you may as well kill yourself. We can't give the death penalty for this offense, but we can sure approximate it."

He didn't, you can read the entire judgment against him online. Here's a rundown:

  1. During discovery, Jones claimed he had no access to Google Analytics data. Testimony by his employees revealed they did in fact have access to that data.
  2. He also refused to request the data from Google, and didn't raise this objection until the data was due. (note that you have only a very short window to object to a discovery request, waiting until the due date is not allowed)
  3. He claimed he emailed the analytics data to the plaintiffs; he lied
  4. A general pattern of not objecting to a discovery request until right before it's due, months or even years later, there are at least 3 separate incidents in the doc
  5. Ranting about the plaintiff's lawyers on air, violating a court order
  6. Tried to delay the lawsuit by demanding Hillary Clinton(!!!) be brought in for a deposition and putting confidential information in it (it's a public document).
  7. Claimed they didn't maintain or utilize a particular sort of ledger which they absolutely did
Etc.

People seem to struggle with this idea, but lying to a judge, refusing to comply with orders, or playing games with requests is a lot like responding to a cop by shouting, "Fuck you, pig!" and grabbing for your waistband. Don't do it. You will get raped.

Just to be clear: I like Alex Jones. He is wildly entertaining. However, him and his lawyers can say whatever they like. The courts made it clear that Jones willingly withheld evidence. This also meant Jones lied under oath and got caught at it because he claimed the evidence didn't exist. Then his lawyers failed to declare certain evidence as part of client-attorney privilege. His lawyers were terrible and deserve a lot of the blame here.
Regardless, $1 billion is an unconstitutionally high fine for Alex, regardless of any alleged fuckery, and should have been fixed at the higher courts.
I agree that it is an obviously excessive judgment that only exists as an albatross over the guy's neck.
Fuck off, Jones might be a retard but this was a political hit job through and through
I also agree that it was a political hitjob to take down Jones, but Jones and his lawyers got caught doing a bunch of dumb shit in court proceedings and it bit them in the ass.

It works for black people all the time, though! It's not fair!

Neither of them were ever sued for almost a billion dollars. Alex Jones was not fined for "being a dick." He was sued for about $50m-$100m per plaintiff, failed to actually contest the lawsuit in good faith, and therefore lost by default. And that means the payout gets maxed.

If I sue you, saying you owe me $10,000, and you refuse to show up in court, then my voice is the only one that counts. You owe me $10,000. Might be damages piled on top of it. If I sue you for $10 million? Same deal. Default judgments can really fuck you up because by definition, you've lost any ability to contest whether the damages sought are excessive. By refusing to participate, you lost your ability to contest the award or damages, meaning I can purse a RAPEMAXXED quantity. IANAL , @Hey Johnny Bravo can tell you more maybe.
Ffs who was his lawyer? :really:

And so what? You act like this isn't an ordinary thing for courts. The lawyers don't always have evidence during discovery. It may not have been an accident. You can tell a judge one day that you don't have evidence, find said evidence, and send it to opposing lawyers. IANAL but I don't need to be know that narrative doesn't pass the smell test. It's discovery and things like that happen literally all the time.

Even if this narrative played out exactly how you stated and it was Jones' intention to deceive the courts....Then what? A judge gets butt mad because you played Discovery Games that every lawyer has probably done at least a handful of times and that somehow warrants what is essentially a financial death sentence and destruction of his company? Give me one good reason why we don't hear more stories of judges handing out Total Financial Death every time a lawyer plays games. We have a wonderful example with the Vic case where Lemoine dropped a 10000 page response on the court the day before hearings and his clients won nearly half a million dollars. I don't understand where you think any of this is somehow justified.

Edit:
Tried to delay the lawsuit by demanding Hillary Clinton(!!!) be brought in for a deposition
What a schizo fucking retard. Fine, I can get behind a default judgement. You'll never sell me on Total Financial Death.

The same reason you hate normies is the same reason they aren't a problem. They bend to popular movements. Once the wind changes they will go in the opposite direction and that is *normal* behavior. To get mad at that is the same as getting mad that your cat scratched you, your dog pissed, or your horse pooped somewhere. Thats what they do.
I guess I just hate the spineless of them ,the inability to actually understand and or question the narratives they have been told. But I truly despise normal faggot YouTubers people who regularly talk about whatever, games, movies etc but then they suddenly decide they have the chops to talk about politics and make the most retarded thing you will ever see in your life. I’ve seen so many YouTubers think they can jump into the world of politics only to crash and burn.

Austin Curtis Peterson aka Austin_07 or Bossmanjack is a gambling addict, convicted felon, and manchild streamer who streams himself playing Old School Runescape and online casinos. Despite being at the age of 28 he still lives in his parent's house while wasting all of their resources away and refusing to get a job (in response he will say that his live streaming career is his job)

Early Life
Arrested lol.png

Not much is known about his early life other than his criminal record. In 2014 he was arrested in connection to vehicle break-ins in Brickshire with 2 other people (Aaron Lee and Terrance White).
According to the arrest report, last Aug. 30 the three suspects entered into the Brickshire area of New Kent. The trio allegedly rummaged through unlocked cars, stealing coins, credit cards, and other items. New Kent Sheriff’s Office has indicated that some of the items have been recovered.

All three suspects have been charged with grand larceny, credit card theft, tampering with a vehicle, and petty larceny. Each of the individuals has also been arraigned in New Kent Circuit Court as well.

In 2015 he and other 3 people (Aaron Scott Lee, David Hartman, and Terrence Terrell White) pled guilty to JCC Car Break-Ins
Peterson pleaded guilty to a grand larceny charge and agreed to pay the same restitution as Lee. In exchange, a conspiracy to commit grand larceny charge was dropped. He will be sentenced at 9 a.m. Aug. 19.

His other charges
His detractors keep bringing up his criminal past a lot in the chat during his stream which annoys him a lot

Now, you could actually empathize with him on this because as long as the person tries to better himself he shouldn't try to constantly justify his wrongdoings when it's being brought up again and again, but that's absolutely not the case here. Looking at his behaviour in the past and today it's safe to say that he has not improved a bit
Streaming Career

Lose my mind by u/nlrskate on r/2007scape
Austin started streaming in 2019 somewhere at the end of June under the nickname "Austin_07" on Twitch. He started by doing streams playing Old School Runescape. He steadily grew his audience and became infamous for being a "debt streamer", which is a term used for streamers who lose millions of loaned gold in duels (which is basically gambling-lite) and will either beg their viewers to clear them out or try to clear themselves by doing it again. You can honestly make a whole thread about these people but let's not get off topic. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to find any clips from 2019. The earliest clip from his Twitch is from 2020

He takes duels VERY SERIOUSLY

But here's the thing, he not only begged for gold, but he also scammed several people with the most famous case being when he got caught In The Act Selling Lent Gold (Getting more than 2k upvotes on R/2007scape). Despite these scams, they didn't really do much to improve his debt situation in Runescape

He still streams Runescape on his Twitch and even managed to get partnered with them. If you're wondering yeah, he still keeps losing insane amounts of money in this game. Here's him losing 1 billion gold

And keeps having mental breakdowns over losing. (Note: Jagex is the company that created Runescape)

Gambling Streams
Unfortunately, I do not have the exact date on which he started doing these streams, but looking at the dates of clips of him losing on Twitch you can say that he started somewhere in 2022, the time when gambling streams, in general, became a big thing.

Believe it or not, he WAS actually getting really lucky. At one point, he even managed to become debt-free (basically making up all the money you wasted gambling), which if you don't know is an insane achievement

As you saw from his Runescape streams, Austin has an addictive personality, so when he started getting lucky during his slots stream he continued streaming them. After Twitch decided to ban gambling on their platform, a new live streaming service was created that allowed it called "Kick", and so Austin decided to make an account there under the nickname Bossmanjack

It seems like when he decided to switch streaming on Kick all of his luck disappeared because nowadays he can't seem to get anywhere near to where he was getting during his Twitch days.

The thing is that he's now so addicted to gambling to the point he physically can not stop. If he has any money in his pocket he WILL use it to try to win in an online casino. He only ends his streams when he's completely empty, there are many moments on his streams when he wins a pretty good amount of money only to gamble all of it away in a matter of minutes

Obviously, all of this makes him melt the fuck down

This kind of behaviour causes him to get in trouble from time to time

And again meltdowns

He absolutely hates his fucking life and to be quite frank with all of you he hates a LOT OF THINGS

His parents

To be fair, his mother is absolutely terrified of him

His dad hates him but judging by his voice seems too old to do anything

Austin also hates his door

And his walls

And most importantly his viewers

While he was on his ban streak he decided to dox some random kid and call his mom

And even challenged him to a boxing match

That's what all of his streams look like. Losing money, pity parties, and complete nuclear levels of meltdowns. This kind of behavior attracted while small a dedicated troll community that compiles all of his meltdowns into compilations on YouTube. These include
They even have a dedicated news-style website called austin-07.com which documents all of his meltdowns and antics. They even opened their own forum where they discussed various topics about Austin and shared highlights from his streams
And can't forget the best part FAN-MADE MUSIC
