Zelensky is too invested in this war, though I can't blame him. Ukraine is literally pulling people off the street and making them fight.

Esprit de corps is depleted and here is Zelensky demanding Ukrainian fight to the last man.

Zelensky is a prime example of a sunk cost. They need to sue for peace instead of continuing to fight in a hopeless conflict.

If Europe disagrees, they can put their own youths on the frontline.

I'm not sure how I came across as lionizing Putin. He has done nothing except fuck himself over. He whines about NATO and has caused NATO to expand through his actions. He has caused Europe to start seriously thinking about funding defense again. With a president of the US who pushes them too as well. He has destroyed an entire generation of young men. I still struggle to understand what he really thought Russia as a country would gain from this war. It's really sad this whole thing. It has to stop, and as much as Zelensky thinks he can just blame Trump for today I don't think it will hold up for long. Like I said, the whole "not an inch of land!" Thing really falls flat after this many years of butcher. Russia will win the long game, I think it's just brutal reality. It has to stop. Ukraine has really held its own, I want them to win, but man. None of these kids should be dying anymore

I meant in general, I wasn't aiming that at you specifically.

The average Russian gains nothing, Putin gains the face back he felt Russia lost when the USSR fell and his gangster friends can get rich from the spoils of war.
