Blondie has revoked the ATF's ability to ban people from owning guns, or certain types of guns, as it was always something the Attorney General had delegated to them, and the AG can un-delegate it at any time. (The ATF was prohibited by law from un-banning people for decades.) I'm not sure but I think this kills red flag laws stone cold dead?

There's no way in hell they let her/Trump do this, so place your bets: Which corrupt judge announces the TRO preventing her from doing her job because it's not being done in a way the left approves of?

Apparently, a fatwa has been issued to MAGA shill accounts on behalf of BIG SODA to post in favor of keeping soda in food stamps—for seemingly no reason. Some pretty big accounts are involved (and also Ian Miles Cheong, too), and allegedly, they're paying up to $1,000 per shill

>are we just going to le ban le hecking sugar drinks?????????
No, considering all "sugar" drinks are actually made with high fructose corn syrup. How about deleting the subsidies for corn, which will delete high fructose corn syrup without banning anything, and taking burden off the taxpayer.

But yes, sometimes people cannot responsibly consume addictive things that can be harmful to them. There is nothing wrong with banning the consumption of addictive drugs like weed and coke. Obesity rates are basically a slowed down version of crack overdose in terms of health impact, and yet somehow people consider this slow death by a thousand cuts acceptable whereas killing yourself in a fraction of the time isn't. why not? Because you get to "enjoy" a few more years before your inevitable heart attack? This isn't a rights issue with muh freedoms, it's a cultural issue. The founding fathers never conceived of $600b+ industry of cheeseburgers and milkshakes making their countrymen 500lbs. If they had, they certainly would have written a health clause into the constitution. But then again, gay niggers convinced the majority of people that we should unban the retard creating drug known as weed, so maybe it's just a lost cause. Sure, drink your goy syrup, just don't come crying to me when you die at 50.

I skipped about a hundred pages of the thread to get through the food stamp conversations, and it occurs to me that poors just retard our entire society in so many countless little ways. Think of all the wasted time and breath people put over a few days into arguing whether poors should or should not have their sugary treats bought for them. We shouldn't have to waste one hour of one person's brainpower on this shit. We collectively lost years of progress across the nation today if you add up all the time everyone had to spend arguing about whether Tyrone and Cletus should be able to throw Coke on EBT.

I'm a little sympathetic because these food corporations spend a lot of money marketing their poison and simultaneously keeping it affordable, which means it ends up in poor households very frequently.

At this moment in my fridge I have bok choy, mushrooms, leftover rice, marinading chicken, other fruits and vegetables... and Kraft Singles. Those nasty slices of "cheese product" that are the butt of every joke. Why? Because I had them as a kid, and even now I like to grill them on real french bread or mix them in with eggs. Is there a logical argument for me having unhealthy cheese-like crap mixed in with an otherwise healthy diet? No, but I grew up with it and enjoy it like a little vice. I can see the same being true for people who cook their own meals but still like gummy bears.

No one is limiting people’s ability to purchase soda like NYC. If you want to buy it with your own money or your SSI, you can.

If you are on government benefits it shouldn’t be for sugar water that can harm your health. If you are on food stamps, you should only be eligible for juices with no high fructose corn syrup, milk and water.

In fact, let’s make any food with high fructose corn syrup ineligible for food stamps. That will force food companies to get that shit out of the food or they won’t get their normally stable income from gov bucks.

RFK wants to bring back polio. Nothing says "make America healthy again" like bringing back polio

I know, Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson say doctors and vaccines bad so MAGA wants to ban all vaccines now, but bringing polio back is not going to go well
You're wrong here. Polio is a great disease. It makes America strong. We never should have gotten rid of it.

America was at it's strongest when we had Polio. We conquered the continent, won wars, and created the nation when we had thousands of people with polio. The greatest Democrat President, who you surely support, FDR, won WWII and defeated The Great Depression with his Polio.

I've always supported Bobby Kennedy as a Presidential candidate and as a Trump ally for his stance on wanting to Give Americas Polio, Again.

GAPA!!

"FUCK YOU ITS BETTER THAN DRINKING SODA" -90% of A&N the last 80 pages

speaking of which people act like drinking water is an obvious solution and not prone to getting fucked with, especially in the areas the poor live. i could taste the metal in the water fountains at school. And it will only get worse as years go by.
Wait, so because tap water occasionally tastes funny we should dismiss it out-of-hand as a solution to inhaling liquid calories?

lol grow a pair. Tap water pretty much everywhere in the US (save a handful of ghettos like Detroit) is clean and safe. If you think it tastes/smells funny, pour it into a glass and let it outgas for five minutes before you drink it. If you think it's unsafe, boil it.

And you can't possibly believe the water used in those drinks is any cleaner, can you? Even bottled water still comes from municipal water sources. There's nothing special about it.

For fuck's sake we've lived on water for tens of thousands of years and it wasn't always delivered by electric pumps from clean sources with chemical treatments to sterilize and further clean it. And we're still here somehow.

As LiquidKid mentions, these ads subsidize most Cable and Broadcast TV in the nation. It's why they're shown CONSTANTLY, especially for shows boomers watch. This is a killshot to, well, everything except streaming I guess.
Streaming, too. My Hulu ads are nothing but the same pharmaceutical and fucking Liberty Mutual ones ad nauseam.

I think it's fucked up that America is dictating to the lower class what they can and cannot put in their bodies.
It's not about what they're putting in their bodies. It's the fact that it's not THEIR money they are spending--it's the tax payers, and the tax payers don't consent to spending money on their unhealthy food when healthy options are available. Remember that the bad food leads to higher medical bills, which the tax payers may also end up paying for.

And about removing the pharmacy ads, I guarantee the Liberals will whine about it even though everyone agrees those ads are awful. The current government is enacting things that have been normal in Europe and Canada for years (and America was judged for not having it), yet now they're against it only because the orange man is doing it.
