Are people monitoring the actual important things going on like the special elections instead of crying that a privileged rich boy greasy wop who murdered a slimeball CEO, who was mere weeks away from going to prison, is getting the chair?

Like can that be focused on instead of tards trying to compare leftoid spray paint tactics to being heroes of the Revolutionary War?
Have you considered posting articles about it and trying to get a discussion going?

The Wisconsin SC one closes at 8pm their time, that's probably the only big one. Nothing going on that I see really yet except the same old 'our are lines are bigger than theirs' back and forth still. I'm wondering if it'll be a blowout for the dem or something they'll be able to squeak/cheat to pull off. The momentum swung hard the last week, but there was a lot of early voting. Do they still have vote by mail there?

Price disclosure would result in a lot of things healing themselves. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.
My dawg, people are financing Chipotle burritos and you think we are on the verge of medical price disclosure?

speaking of disclosure I HAD TO HUNT for the "fine print"

They will allow missed payments to accrue up to 25% of the orders value PER ORDER

Then once your good and over your head the "interest free period ends "

Not to power level, but my eyes were opened when my first child was born. There was confusion at the hospital as to how my child was covered so they sent me a bill. $24k, but they would take $18.5k cash with a number to call to negotiate that. My health insurance paid $36k. Yes, you all read that correctly.

We all think internet grifters are bad. They have nothing on the health insurance industry.
Protip: You don't have to pay medical bills if the services are already rendered. It's hard for them to show up on credit history and even if they do most financial institutions ignore them when making decisions about you. Hospitals are not allowed to refuse service for previous bills. Their only recourse is to require payment up front before rendering services and that's only allowed if the procedure is not considered life saving.

If you finance a burrito, you deserve whatever happens as a result.

The FL special election situation is pretty serious and I hope the WI SC thing goes right. I know that WI still does absentee ballot vote-by-mail but I don't know about anything else.

Is this a recession or depression indicator?
Hooters is a leftover of another age, and most of the remaining clientele would be the gradually dying off boomers.

Not point in going to a mediocre wing place with the only draw being scantily clad women in the age of internet porn.

Do you guys ever follow up with liberal friends and family once something has been throughly adjudicated to be "bad" or even "crimial". My liberal friends hated me for pointing out that firing people for the covid vaccine was ruled to be illegal and millions have been paid out to those fired because of it. The same with the hunter biden laptop story. Make them reanswer the questions and clarify their stance in light of new evidence.

They hate it so much because it forces them to support crime in which case you can call them criminal scumbags or admit they were wrong. You can slowly force them to twist their world view into something so disgusting they have trouble looking at themselves in the mirror.

They would have to support the government censoring stories, spying on political opponents, firing people they don't like. Then you can point out trump is president and ask them if he's allowed to do those things. It ties in perfectly well with DOGE and they hate you because you just put up a brick wall for their bitching.

Either they admit they are a wrong ass bitch or realize turnabout is always fair play.

Wouldn't work. The hospitals often overcharge people to subsidize people who can't pay. Those $250 bandaids you pay for help pay for the illegals using the emergency room as free healthcare. Being held to a fixed price would screw this whole system up.

Wayne's World isn't that good. People mostly remember the SNL skit and the Bohemian Rhapsody thing. Otherwise it is a movie that is entirely made up of references to other things and makes you feel tired.
Wayne's World is a strange bird. It's a boomer movie but it has the "Holy crap Lois I'm Pickle Rick!" lolsorandum jokes typical of millennial humor.

It's a weird mix of X and boomerism for sure. But I still liked it a lot. I haven't seen either 1 or 2 in forever and I'm sure it aged horribly. Those new Beavis and Butthead retries sure have soured them too.

Hospitals will routinely (and eagerly) accept cash offers of 20-30% of the original bill, the moment you offer, no haggling or questions asked, with "account in good standing, amount owed $0, thanks for your business, come back anytime!" once the payment clears. Not even kidding.

It's the world's worst-kept secret that literally every medical entity overbills insurance companies for everything they provide and do, hoping the insurance company will eventually pay some small fraction of that amount, sometimes as little as 10% of what they bill depending on the service and entities involved.

When they hand over that first inflated bill, they don't expect you to pay it. It's their first volley in the bullshit ping-pong game they play with insurance companies. The moment you start waving cash, they perk right up (because your payment clears today, whereas the insurance payment (if it comes at all) will take months). You may not get as low a discount as what the insurance company would pay (which is bullshit), but they'll bend over backwards to accommodate you if it means getting some cash from you today. Discounts, payment plans, assistance getting financial help from other sources (i.e. charities), you name it. All of that is cheaper, easier and faster than dealing with the insurance companies. Pays better, too.

God I hate filibustering why the fuck hasn't it been removed, it was retarded as fuck when Ted Cruz did it and it's retarded as fuck now.
Because when democrats removed the Judicial filibuster they ended up getting fucked out of the Supreme Court.

It’s a huge risk unless you plan to rule forever.
