The NHS is swamped with patients that they can't care for at a reasonable time, and Canada is recommending MAID to anybody they possibly can that's a burden to their healthcare system. MAID is already nearly 5% of all deaths in Leafistan. The Scandinavian countries that have the "best socialist healthcare" all for the most part have tax rates above 50%

Not really. Party caucuses have significant influence in the parties. Look at how the Progressive Caucus has taken over the Democrat Party in the last 30 years. They went from not existing in 1990, to having 77 seats in the House in 2010, to having 100 House seats in 2022. Look at how the Freedom Caucus holds up the GOP. It's easier to think of it in terms of Red vs. Blue, that is 100% true, but the details are far more complicated than that.

That's a major problem, too. Lots of people soak up bennies because they're high and/or drunk all the time. How many cows have threads on the site who are addicts and collect government checks for nothing? It's not hard: get a job. Do community service. Do something other than sit around all day.
