Using US Courts to Burn Money, for Free, Forever

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
The problem is that we just couldnt imagine that the people would grow so corrupted and toxic to each other in the centuries ahead when the courts were made, to the point no measures were made to prevent such exploits.

Besides, the courts were way slower back then (and still are today, but still), today you can just make case after case after case and if you happened to be a Protected Class ™️ , you wont be punished for abusing the system.

Overall 9/10 on the message, 6.5/10 on editing.

Not trying to be a dick here, the overall story and message is basically perfect. I just noticed a couple things that should’ve been tweaked.

And I know hundreds of people (and maybe a few trannies) have probably suggested this, but you need a side venture where you can collect ad revenue. I know of a group right now that is starting off as a niche focus but has the potential to expand like the Farms did. The only problem? They’re retards and can’t build a decent forum.

So maybe it’s time to be a partner in a properly (not saying yours isn’t), and privately configured LLC and get involved in something like that.

@Null just find a broke ass hobo and pay him $100 to file a bunch of lawsuits against her and drag her ass to court for frivolous charges. Have him accuse her of molesting him so she risks having her kids taken away.

This post is satire in minecraft
The court would probably pay for her defense so I doubt that's an option. Maybe harassing her family members into disowning her is an option, but she's probably already disowned due to being crazy and harassing innocent people for having a crazy relative is a bit cruel.

Wait, why can't Null get a public defender then? Surely even the most incompetent baboon would be able to defeat such frivolous suits.

We could imagine and we did know. You should read some of the more prominent 18th century novels, plays, etc (Jonathan Swift, John Gay, etc). They absolutely knew that the whole of the English court system was a mess and made fun of it pretty regularly.

The thing is... what are you going to do instead? Without a legal institution that puts people on theoretically equal footing with those more wealthy than themselves, you will quickly devolve into a caste based social order (instead of slowly devolving into a caste based social order...)

Im not saying that we didnt know things were bad, Im just saying we didnt know how much WORSE it was going to get. Before it was the usual corruption, incompetence and all that jazz. But it has gotten to the point of absolute absurdity that just barely sounds better than the other alternatives.

One of my professors (18th century English Lit was his specialty) pointed out in a lecture once that The Beggar's Opera was G Dub Washingon's favorite thing, he wouldn't miss it. Even traveled to see it performed multiple times when it was being performed in the (pre) US. A central plot theme in the play was that thieves would be released every night from jail to make enough money stealing more shit so they could pay their debts, pay for the food and booze they consumed, etc.

Ironically, the person who wrote it drank his own kool aid. He put all of the theater money he made making fun of the new bourgeois world into pump and dump stock in colonial trading companies and lost it all when the companies collapsed and went bankrupt.

I'm curious though: how common do you think the misuse of the judicial system that Melinda Scott and Russel Greer engage in is?

Since we're all somewhat exceptional here, I figure dear leader Null has just found himself in the very unfortunate position to get himself tangled up with some evidently bizarre and uncommon people, in a superbly strange situation that hardly anyone else ever gets caught up in? Naturally, since the main purpose of KiwiFarms is to discuss the misfits of society, it's hardly a surprise that Joshua is like a beacon to the very deviants who would gladly go to such extreme lengths, at the cost of their own time and energy, in order to act out their petty spite.

I'd be willing to bet every court in the country has at least a couple of these nutjob serial vexatious litigants.

Many of them have histories vastly more voluminous than Melinda or Russell, too, some with hundreds or even, like Jonathan Lee Riches, thousands of completely frivolous suits.

Haha, I did a quick search on this absolute madlad, and I must say, I'm almost impressed. At least he's now barred from utilizing "in forma pauperis."

I also see that, according to Wikipedia, the UK have had a some development with "in forma pauperis" the last couple of decades? Are America and the UK unique in the existence of this kind of legal aid welfare? It would be very interesting if anyone could bother themselves with making a compilation of the spending of public funds in the US that goes into these vexatious litigant bums. I suppose the very idea of social security nets demand its function amongst large swaths of the population, but I would very much like to think that you'd be able to tell these morons to pound sand without dismantling some sort of vital societal function.

I'm pretty sure that as with most legal principles with Latin names, most common law countries have some form of the concept. The concept of "you automatically lose because you're poor" is pretty inconsistent with the philosophy of most First World countries, even if in practice that's usually the case.
