As far as I can tell, they're too busy making memes with their donut steel OC self-inserts (while shitting on Malik and the white guy) and reposting drawings by the handful of Tumblrkin who have imprinted on their game. Actually making the game is someone else's job, and they've already got the money, so who cares?

I'm just happy they fucking spent time on both of these. One is Ascii which might have been made with a generator but still is fun to look at, the other is a copy of a piece of an actual painting I can't remember the name of. Both have more effort put into em than some of the other art they produce.

I'm honestly surprised that with such a large volatile group behind it, this project didn't fall apart specifically because of one of them getting cancelled for wrongthink, or at least one character being thrown out for the same reasons.

I would argue it's downright impossible. Any time you get a group of bitchy, catty artists together they partition off to talk shit about the other circle. IF (and that's a big if) the game releases, someone's gonna sperg about their character's route being shorter than someone else's, or that they were written OOC at some point, or that they didn't get as much fanart, or some other miscellaneous bullshit. It's bound to happen.
