People aren't mad about the cast, though. They're mad because of the unprofessional PR, aren't they?

If we do want to talk about the cast, though, I beg them to do more research on the characters ethnicities and what they look like/act like/do. Add some nuance instead of sprinkling in some Spanish like 2011 fanfiction writers or making Asian people look like African-Americans (which is another level of racism entirely, actually.) They pride the game on being a more accurate depiction of dating in real life, but if you look at it closely it just sounds 2deep4me with pretentious characters and a Tumblr power fantasy than an actual introspection into real life dating.

More shit is coming out against the dev teams. This time it's Dani! Not much new info at the moment (talking about the doxxing and of course the blatant racism, but some podcast snippets got released), but it seems that Dani's close friends with Kate Mitchell from the WhatPumpkin thread? Also sperging about how underrated she was in the Homestuck fandom. Genuinely not sure where the antisemitism claims are coming from, but the twitter that this thread came from has some good gossip on Dani.

Real shit! Half of these characters just look unappealing. And did they make Biggie Smalls a character...? Bet he’s rolling in his grave right now.

I can understand wanting some ethnic diversity, but so many of these characters be looking like they walked right out of Tumblr, but come from extremely conservative countries. I get they’re all in Jersey or whatever that town in the game is called, but damn, they must have some major family problems. A lot of cultures would be super disapproving of this gender identity stuff, and even being anything but straight.
