Valor Mortis - First person souls-like set in alternate Napoleonic wars

Alright I played it for like an hour. This is what I've got:
-there IS an FOV slider but it only goes up to 100
-there's no option to lock the framerate
-there's a weird feel to the camera like it moves before the player's feet do. I can't really think of anything I can compare it to besides Thief Deadly Shadows
-aiming the gun is its own button press which I bound to a side mouse button as having block on fucking control was too much. it's not Dishonored, you have to actually block. if I had a pedal, this is how I'd use it.
-the lock on actually locks on and isn't simply a marker. I don't really like it but it might be useful in bossfights. probably not though.
-there's yellow white paint on grabbable/vaultable surfaces
-I have no idea how you're supposed to manage stamina. You don't get very much of it and any serious threat drains all of it when you block.
-if the only melee weapon is the saber, it's going to get old fast

I dunno, I'm not sold. Certainly played better first person melee games.

edit: the dismember system is actually good. I didn't expect it. It appears top be a genuinely gory game.
