Quietly ban LGBT people and respective topics and you will have a far more reasonable forum then just banning politics.

Plus game design has gotten so codified that I realized I'd rather play an uneven game that nothing else is like than a game that's "good" and "polished" but only because it rigidly follows our hyper-sterilized modern notions of what a good game is allowed to do.

I know exactly what you're talking about and I fucking despise it. It started around 2007 and just ramped up worse and worse until peaking in 2020. Everything has been unreal engine since.

I agree with the second category but not the first. If an LGBT person can constructively contribute to a community without derailing it, they should absolutely be allowed to stay.
