Amazing how devs had diversity figured out years ago.

For extraordinary heroism in action during the 15–19 November 1944, toward Guebling, France. Though severely wounded in the leg, Sergeant Rivers refused medical treatment and evacuation, took command of another tank, and advanced with his company in Guebling the next day. Repeatedly refusing evacuation, Sergeant Rivers continued to direct his tank's fire at enemy positions through the morning of 19 November 1944. At dawn, Company A's tanks began to advance towards Bougaktroff [sic, correct name is Bourgaltroff], but were stopped by enemy fire. Sergeant Rivers, joined by another tank, opened fire on the enemy tanks, covering company A as they withdrew. While doing so, Sergeant River's tank was hit, killing him and wounding the crew. Staff Sergeant Rivers' fighting spirit and daring leadership were an inspiration to his unit and exemplify the highest traditions of military service.

You can even use real people.

lol 29+ pages of vidya subforum but barely 4 of hulkamania (involves going outside), never change kiwis
fuck you

I sort of wish there was a lolcow thread for Andryah the forum shill for Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO from BioWare but A: no kiwis have had the misfortune of playing that dumpster fire & B: they're such a small blip in an already small community it just isn't worth it.

how long do you think it will be before we can play full pc games on mobile phones? like half life 2 or tomb raider(the reboot)

edit never mind i found out the nvidia shield can do both of those

I want to dox everyone involved in the decision that's making Xseed Games push back the release of Senran Kagura Burst RE: Newal.

How do I start doxing people?

the Nvidia Shield, which runs a cloud-gaming-built version of Android, already runs Half Life 2 through Android. Can't imagine how long it would take to run the Graphic's Card Testing Utility featuring Lara Croft from Tomb Raider franchise on mobile phones though...

What the fuck is Maplestory 2.

I know the game is marketed towards those who grew up with MS1, who're now e-skanks age mid-20s, but this is too far. I've spent not an hour in the game and no joke, 2 of 3 messages in the world chat, of which you need to pay to post, is people shilling their Twitch stream with some super quirky "big dick" memery, or Stacy unironically offering snapchat and feet pics for items.

I can deal with dudes ERPing as girls with dicks for currency, but this one tiny niche of actual girls being whores in a game that isn't exactly mainstream (like OW and all the 'heal sluts'), I just can't wrap my head around.

That said, MS2 is confusing and not at all worth it if that's the community stereotype.

God damn, I wish I can find a group of people who play SF IV but not as professionally autistic like the guys at KoF 14.

Now I want to play the game.

Is Stellaris playable at this point? Anyone knows? Anyone knows strategy games in a similar vein? (not from Paradox, I know all of those)

I haven't played anything in a while because I got disgusted at the amount of unplayable early access shit and kinda burned out on the whole gaming thing and now I come back and it looks like it has gotten even worse, what the hell

You still looking for a strategy game?

Went back to Cataclysm for a few days but any advice is always appreciated. It also can't be to complicated or too spergy for me. Best something that came out in the last two years because that's about the time I didn't pay any attention (I think)

Some suggestions would be Total War: Warhammer II, XCOM 2, and Civilization 6 are big ones. Some small indie ones would be Darkest Dungeons, Into the Breach, and Factorio. If I were going to recommend one, I would highly recommend Battletech. A dope mecha turn based game.

Blizzard finally announced the performers at the 2018 Blizzcon Music Festival. Spoiler alert: its the most painfully hipsterish lineup imaginable.

https://blizzcon.com/en-us/news/226...ure-train-lindsey-stirling-and-kristian-nairn

Every BlizzCon, we’ve closed out the weekend with a musical performance—but this year, we won’t just have one live band; instead, three diverse musical acts will perform live in our own BlizzCon mini music festival featuring Train, Kristian Nairn, and Lindsey Stirling!

The closing festivities will begin around 7:30 p.m. with a sendoff from Blizzard. Then the music begins around 8:00 p.m. PDT with Train on the Mythic stage. Kristian Nairn and Lindsey Stirling will follow shortly thereafter in the Overwatch Arena and at the Heroes of the Storm Tournament stage, respectively. The start times for each act are staggered to help ensure you have a chance to see some of each; walk the halls with your friends and fellow Blizzard gamers to enjoy all the festivities!

TRAIN
Live on the Mythic stage at around 8:00 p.m. PDT

With numerous Grammy awards and 14 songs on Billboard’s Hot 100 list, Train has been a mainstay of American rock music for 20 years. They’ve released a dozen acclaimed and best-selling albums over the past two decades, spawning countless breakout singles such as “Hey Soul Sister,” “Calling All Angels,” and “Drops of Jupiter” along the way.

KRISTIAN NAIRN
Live in the Overwatch Arena at around 8:15 p.m. PDT

Kristian Nairn has been one of Ireland’s most prolific and acclaimed resident DJs for two decades, releasing major remixes of songs from acts like the Freemasons, Madison Avenue, Duke, and more. He’s also brought his progressive EDM sound to clubs and concerts around the world, performing alongside legendary acts like the Scissor Sisters and spearheading his own “Rave of Thrones” club show series. A longtime WoW player, Nairn can’t wait to return to BlizzCon for another epic DJ set with his fellow gamers.

LINDSEY STIRLING
Live on the Heroes of the Storm Tournament stage at around 8:30 p.m. PDT

In the over five years since the release of Lindsey Stirling’s 2012 self-titled debut, the electronic music impresario, violinist, dancer, and visual artist has become one of the 21st century’s most innovative stars thanks to her groundbreaking vision of cinematic violin-driven electronic music. Her trademark sound and original choreography have made her headline tours a true spectacle. With her new Christmas album Warmer in the Winter out now, this will be a performance you won’t want to miss.

People are dropping hundreds to thousands of dollars to attend Blizzcon and the best they can come up with are Train, DJ Hodor and a moderately-talented fiddler cum cosplayer.
