>Play DQ11 because I remember liking one as a kid
>Game is just a very basic RPG fun with a ton of character
>Act 1 and Act 2 pretty good story and character development
>Act 3 gets retarded time travel even though you effectively can astral project into the past at some point with no issues

Act 3 is just very lackluster and rushed. Your homies ain't even your homies anymore. Should of just gone full on non-linear time bullshit causing duplicates to exist.

Been getting into For Honor a whole bunch recently; the game isn't the best, being made by Unisoft, but there's enough characters there to have a build that just about anyone can enjoy. Unfortunately, the devs have been getting lazier with the game as of recently; the past five heroes (Warmonger, Gryphon, Kyoshin, Pirate, and Medjay) are all notorious for being made up of reused assets from other heroes, the balancing is all over the place, and there has been a massive lack of quality content released recently. Worse yet, the community has been getting increasingly woke; there's been some people pushing "antifascist" symbols here and there, and the leaps of logic that these smoothbrains make is simultaneously hilarious and depressing.

Is Mordhau still the best big team objective sword game right now? I was a big dick sucker for War of the Roses when it was around. Bannerlord's multiplayer is practically dead so I think it's the closest thing i'll find that can scratch that itch.

Personally I'd recommend Chivalry 2, I really like that game.

Yeah, act 3 doesn't have a very good start. It gets a bit better as you get deeper into it (there's one part related to Hendrik that I really love), but it's still not great, imo. I haven't completed it yet, so I might change my opinion by the end of it.
It doesn't help that a bunch of quest-related stuff sticks around after the time travel, which makes no sense. Like, why do the mermaid and little boy at Lonalulu still know each other when Alizarin never attacked Nautilus?

That said, your friends retain some kind of knowledge in their subconscious, because they keep getting deja vu about things, and I wouldn't be surprised if something happens to fully restore their memories later on.

Sorry for another post so soon, but... is it just me, or are so many gamers these days complete fucking babies? It seems like just about every multiplayer game these days is filled with woke soyboys crying about "hate" or screaming about politics or some shit. Like that For Honor game I mentioned above; the fanbase is talking pretty much non-stop about people with swastikas in-game, about how anyone who has one "should be hunted down and killed IRL, because they are obviously supporters of killing Jews". Seems like no-one can take a damn joke these days...

That's the worst part. Could of had the old Watcher give them back their memories with their levels and shit, would of been better for Hendrik to still hold out hope for his friend knowing that the last time he was beaten he hung around. I'd honestly would have preferred if he had Veronica and Serena be two characters in one party slot rather than split them up again.
It's just the blue balls of teasing the idea of your homies coming back.

The entire third act pisses me off because the main character can walk through time. I'd honestly would have preferred if the main character didn't fucking time travel and the Secret Big Bad pulled the trigger on time travel in hopes of regaining his power.

The entire Act III is trying to recapture moments that were done better in Act II. The bosses in Act III tend to be either trivial or fucking annoying (the Old Man in the Painting, holy fuck).

What kills me about this isn't that they're pussies, I actually get that. I fucking hate dealing with people at work, fuck off I'm fixing to put on voice chat and listen to retards online.

No, what kills me is how despite being pussies, they get so fucking militant about it. In the real world, there's always the grift, but why even engage? Mute everyone, and enjoy stabbing shit.

Tencent and Sony Interactive Entertainment collectively acquire 30.34 percent of FromSoftware

Tencent holds 16.25 percent of shares; Sony Interactive Entertainments holds 14.09 percent.

Sorry for the double post but the Chinks are getting their censoring little fingers on everything.

Can't wait for the super realistic propaganda.

The KOTOR remake got moved to a different studio.
On one hand, I'm slightly hopeful that this means it won't get ruined by the woke agenda. On the other hand, the studio is in Europe.
The KOTOR remake is pointless. Fight me.

Company of Heroes 3 unironically looks kind of...good? After the dumpster fire that was Dawn of War 3, I figured this series was dead too but the new game actually looks OK. Though just like DOW3 promised to combine the best parts of DOW1 and DOW2, this says it will combine the best parts of COH1 and COH2 - and we all know how that worked out the first time.
Sorry for another post so soon, but...
This isn't Reddit, post to your heart's content without apologizing for it like a soifag.

Bring as many of your cowardly friends as you want; I'll go to prison, but all of you will go to the morgue.

I went to the Valheim store page to see if ANY UPDATES had hit since Hearth and Home eons ago. Nope. No word on what exactly the next update will be or when either. I got 100 hours out of it at launch and had a blast so for 19.99 I got my money's worth but it just continually astounds me how slow progress is on 90% of EA games that hit it big at launch.

Those devs took the money and ran instead of figuring out how to expand the team and get the game moving. In basically a year since launch they've managed to add some QOL features and about half a dozen new items / building things. That's pathetic.

They're not EA devs, they're a Swedish indie and the team was something like 12-15 people. The success of the game would make any small dev shit their pants and second guess future decisions of a game that was suddenly in the spotlight of every game site just to keep their game going beyond the scope they anticipated. They don't have media teams and a roadmap like Overwatch or CoD:PuBG, they just had a game and ideas that exploded.
