Is the The Callisto Protocol worth the stank of dealing with the Epic Games store? I heard up and downs from when it was released.
How ok are you with low enemy variety because Calisto probably has the worst I've seen in a AAA game.

There are only three basic enemies and only two bosses, one of which you fight five times.

Feed the Deep has been released.
another copy of a killzone prototype was found
an older proto for worms world party for the ps1 was found
and someone is trying to get a hold of the demo for Total Distortion for the pc, its that weird game where you are like an alien rockstar of some sort.
edit: bonus autism gaming picture.

context: someone found the source image for one of the silhouettes used for the first aid kits in counter strike condition zero.

anyone play any hearthstone or diablo 4?

battleground in HS is fucking fun. I play it way more than I do classic HS.
Diablo 4 is meh, got to level 50 but I can't be into it more than an hour.

Finally sat down and started playing Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines for the first time. Easily to see why it is considered to be a classic.
I still need to get around to it, since all new games are becoming shit I've been playing old games, I'm currently playing nightmare creatures on N64, game gave me nightmares when I would watch my brother play it, but man it fun game.

Mod for fallout 2 that doesnt entirely skip temple of trials but makes it shorter, took him 4 years to update it lol, poor guy.

video showing new developments in brutal dooms blood system, showing off pre-rendered animation, hence why it looks kind of bland, but in return in the future will add lots of optimization according to SGTMK5.
Showcase from a mod called Half Life : Lemmings, formerly Half Life : but you can save every scientist, hes currently working on the chapter Blast Pit.
the reason this is possible is due to the developers somehow advanced knowledge of both HL1 a.i and HL2 a.i because HL:S uses a bit of code from both iirc.

I'm still pissed that the Nintendo Gigaleak was supposedly 2TB but we got a fraction of that.

Also, among the thirty or so games expected to show up on Gamescom this year, Planet Coaster 2 caught me eye. Apparently it's supposed to have waterslides (something the original game never had; I guess it's finally bringing back what they did with RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 thirty years earlier.

I never got into Planet Coaster partly because my PC at the time was shit and partly because of all the DLC, but I've always thought that these theme park games could use a little more creativity and flexibility in what theme parks actually have; every single one I've been to has had some sort of permanent live show attraction with an enclosed stage.

I was also a bit turned off at the fact that Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo weren't intercompatible to have your own Busch Gardens-style theme park/zoo. But waterparks sound interesting; hot lifeguard babes, a wave pool where everyone drowns, and waterslides so impractical it makes Action Park look safe. Unfortunately, until I see more this just seems like one of those sequels where it doesn't really add anything groundbreaking with tech; you just have to buy the DLC again.

What percentage of you are still buying consoles these days especially with the way they seem to be going? Or are more people just doing PC gaming/emulation?

With the majority of "exclusive" games being released on PC either at launch or later on and emulation being a thing I haven't seen a reason to own a console since the PS3/360 era.

Do any of you guys track your game backlogs/progress? Like with websites like backloggery or howlongtobeat, etc. It helps me and scratches an autistic itch in the back of my mind, but I know it can have the opposite effect on people.

I used to use Backloggery but now everything goes on an Excel spreadsheet.
