It's apparently very good but it doesn't hold your hand, and has a lot of mechanics that were shoved in just because some spreadsheet said they needed to be in. The former has a lot of tourists, including games journalists, very pissed cause there's not yellow paint, a sassy female ethnic tutorial lady, and a glowing blue line pointing exactly where you need to go to complete the game. The latter is a bit of a pisser but not a game ruiner.


This guy talks about it a bit. It's a "shitty good game." Or "Korean Bethesda." Apparently was going to be a MMORPG before they decided to retool it.

DSP apparently hit the first boss without even realizing it has RPG mechanics and you need to upgrade/equip new gear, but, to be fair, he's a fucking retard.

I dont what to think about crimson desert. I played the game for about 2 and a half hours before refunding it and I dont know why. I dont hate the game and it does scratch that Dragons Dogma itch (barely).
 
I beat Tainted Grail, game was great and I'll probably do another playthrough eventually.
I'm trying to choose my next game and I'm thinking it's slop time. Between doom the dark ages and crimson desert I'm split. I've waited to buy DTDA because I didn't want pay full price for it, and I'm thinking I should do the same for crimson desert.

It's good. If you're looking for something similar to Titan Quest 2, Dragonkin: The Banished just came out and it is a decent little ARPG.
 
Bailed from my online friend group so now I have a good chunk of time to play games besides League. I swear I'll commit to beating Demon's Souls this time. I always got fatigued from the runbacks in Boletaria, but this time will totally be different.
Update: Taking a short break after old king Doran one shot me lol
 
I caved. I'm not super impressed with the Switch 2, but there's too much going on right now that's affecting prices, so I'm getting nervous it'll affect the Switch 2 eventually. I was also holding out for a new Switch 2 system variant with a nicer color scheme, but there doesn't seem to be one in sight.

Have you guys tried sandbox at all? apparently they're going to go live later this month so it's the last time to get a free copy.
