Currently trying to get into Spacestation 13, I have no clue what I am doing. Up till now I only played assistant roles, but since I haven't yet figured out many basic things, I don't want to bother people by asking how to perform basic stuff ingame. Guess I'll have to watch countless videos on youtube to figure shit out.

I'm playing the Yakuza series and I'm on Chapter 12 in Yakuza 0.

I also booted up Legend Of Dragoon and Final Fantasy Tactics : Easy Type 1. 3 on my emulator for Mobil nostalgia.

Rest in peace Sigrid. It was really amazing running past you to find the blacksmith

I can't believe it's never going to happen again

I have absolutely no idea how to teel about Torchlight 3. Even the developers seem to lack enthusiasm.

Mockery. The original idea for Torchlight 3 was sooooooooooo bad they had to completely redo it for Early Access and then at the end still fucked up core parts of the game. All the reviews are basically just giving it a solid "meh".

Yeah, I'm kicking myself for not doing more research. I really enjoyed the first two games so figured this one would be a no brainer, but it somehow feels really cheap and over engineered at the same time. Dumbest bug so far is how changing difficulty fucks things up, so the game subsequently scale to the lowest or highest extremes at that point - so the game is now piss easy, or a boring slog.

I should have just started a new Inquisitor in that 40k RPG.

I couldn't believe just how much the game hates the player. Like no respecing outside of maybe once or twicem and even then not on your full build but just one or two skills? Get the fuck out of here.

A friend of mine tried getting me to play that game back in 2013 and I just couldn't handle the lag and the clunky controls.

Finished Ninja Gaiden Sigma on normal difficulty. I knew going into it that they changed some things, but had no idea it included numerous slight level design and control differences. At least now I know what the hell was bugging me while playing it.

Playing Devil May Cry's NG+ for the first time, on my 2008 save file. Forgot how bad the camera was until getting to the level 3 boss...

Looks like the next gen Xbox doesn't read shit from the discs for the Cross Gen XBone games. Everything is a digital download which means none of the data for the next gen games is on the actual discs.

So all these complete editions are not actually complete and don't contain the DLC on the actual disc.

That's how the BC program works. The disc is just like a proof of purchase.

I gotta ask, what's the deal with Hades and the GAEM OF TE DECADE UGUU crap?

Played it for 45 minutes and refunded, seemed like some uninspired roguelike with weeaboo characters and underwhelming powerups.

I thought it would actually read the contents like how the 360, Wii, Wii-U, PS2, PS3, and PS5 did it.

The fact that you need online in order to play your old games because it won't read or install them from the disc really does damper what I thought about it.

I figured it would with One games because I thought they were essentially the same format, with the Series X being more like another upgraded Xbox One but tarted up by marketing to look like a fourth Xbox, with an eventual lock out for newer games so Xbox One owners can't play them. That's what I thought with the whole deal on how all Series X games will be compatible with the Xbox One for the first year.

Microsoft's been pushing the all-digital dilly-o harder than anyone, and I'm sure the Series X would have been 100% discless if the Xbox One hadn't flopped so hard.

Something else to point out with the Xbox One is that, if you have it online and put in a new disc, you can't even start it until the updates have finished downloading. If you want to play whatever's exclusively on the disc, you need to disconnect it from the internet entirely. This is really annoying with any game with giant updates.

It's probably that they're signed/packaged/compiled in a different way on new Xbox or something like that. If Xbox One have been cracked/compromised they wouldn't want to carry that further to a new system, if it hasn't they might be still be wary going forward, who knows what gets leaked over the next few years.

This whole upcoming generation is odd in how the changeover is happening, you have Playstation 4 games getting their PS5 version canceled because there's no difference between the two as far as content or performance goes and the PS4 version can already be played on PS5.

I still can't get a PS5 preorder, but it seems like we're a good ways off until RPGs are being released for it. The closest thing we have to a new exclusive release might be Disgaea 6 GOTY edition. The new neir game even notes on it's package that it can be played on the PS5 despite coming in PS4 packaging.

This is the 20th anniverary of Majora's Mask. For some reason this game is very important and nostalgic for me. I remember going to Babbage's with my mom and pre-ordering it. It was really the first game I had that kind of hype about. I still remember being so excited seeing the 3d gold cartridge and showing it off to everyone.

Just so weird thinking about that weird game and how vividly I remember it, then thinking about where we are twenty years later. Nostalgia is a hell of a thing.
