A friend on Steam bugged me. It’s like why I played Planescale torment and got pissy at how terrible it is as a game and think that the narrative can’t save it despit how they gushed about it.Then why did you play it?
Okay, then why are you accepting recommendations for them? Are you brain damaged?A friend on Steam bugged me. It’s like why I played Planescale torment and got pissy at how terrible it is as a game and think that the narrative can’t save it despit how they gushed about it.
Narrative heavy games without good gameplay and adventure games are the bane of my existence.
Hes probably desperate for a new fun game so hes asking his pals for something to new to play. Or maybe its just as he said, his friends keep telling to him play a certain game. Its not too much of a risk to play something you never played before. I remember 5 or 6 years ago in high school, my homie wouldnt shut up about Yakuza. So I took his advice and started Yakuza 0. Amazing video game 10/10. And all that took was just a risk for something new to play.Okay, then why are you accepting recommendations for them? Are you brain damaged?
Planescape Tormet is one of the best CRPG's ever created it. It's right up there with the first two Baldur's Gate games the Icewind Dale games and the first two Fallout games. It's like the holy trinity of PC RPG's just there is more than 3. If you don't like it then that's just the way it is. But it's seen by many as an excellent RPG.A friend on Steam bugged me. Meanwhile, Rally Masters came out in early 2000 and has no problem with widescreen. Or Xbox controllers with analog sticks and triggers.I installed it and found out there is no widescreen support. I mean none at all. You can get files that someone used a hex editor to edit to allow you to play in 1920x1080.
Really? That's pretty old to have widescreen support. Did it get a remaster?Meanwhile, Rally Masters came out in early 2000 and has no problem with widescreen. Or Xbox controllers with analog sticks and triggers.
No, I was running the old pirated release. It seemed to poll windows on what resolutions it supported and just let you choose from that.Really? That's pretty old to have widescreen support. Did it get a remaster?
Dawn of War needs a remaster or a remake.
That is really odd for such an old game. Being able to map an Xbox controller as well. The only thing I have had to map to a game is my Logitech Extreme 3D pro joystick. I use an Xbox controller for the Xinput so I don't have to screw with it when I use it for a game. No, I was running the old pirated release. Here's a video of the game
It moves the UI element to the right places and it doesn't stretch anything.
The most impressive thing was that I could easily map the xbox controller, the game was from the time when controller support was a fucking shit show.
Motorhead is also a racing game(same developer, DICE) from 1998 and it also lets you run in whatever resolution/aspect ratio you want.
It was surprising, but it uses the full extent of old DirectInput it seems, so mapping acceleration registers as a "yoke" or whatever it was and so on. It meant that the controls could be easily configured but looking at the configuration makes no sense since it's mapped towards flight-sim functions and not the Xbox controller. That is really odd for such an old game. That is pretty strange. But an analog stick is kind of like a smaller joystick. It's rated very positive on Steam,Has anyone done a review on F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch yet? I thought about picking it up myself, but I genuinely haven't heard much about the game; any suggestions?
Played through about 4 missions so far and I see what you mean. Doom 2016 was more enjoyable but Doom Eternal is okay I guess. As much as I like Doom 2016, I found Eternal to be a letdown. Game had way too many platforming and not enough of rip and tearing. And I didnt like the Earth setting or the new weapons. The mechanics were to kinda complex for no reason. Using the flamethower for armor HP, using the Chainsaw for rocket ammo, etc. Also the online is even worse in Eternal than Doom 2016. Not that anyone buys Doom for online.
Because the hype for Eternal was much bigger than DOOM 2016. No one really expected Doom 2016 to be good but then it turned out to be great. Mick Gordons killer ost combined with the demon slaughtering made the game great for sequels being planned. So when Eternal got revealed along with the "mortally challenegd" meme, a delay from late 2019 to early 2020, A Switch port of Doom 2016 in 2017 and Mick Gordon coming back for the sequel. The hype for Eternal was real.Played through about 4 missions so far and I see what you mean. Doom 2016 was more enjoyable but Doom Eternal is okay I guess.
I also find it weird that Doom Eternal has a lot more players than Doom 2016 by looking at steamcharts. Even at its peak Doom 2016 didn't have as many people playing. I wonder if they upped the marketing for Doom Eternal
