you could try to clean the switch, unless it isn't totally worn out. might also be simpler/faster to replace that part than full-blown hall effect mod.

VC4 is good too, if a bit of a retread.

Both games have problems at certain points. eg. There's a part where you have to destroy a car before it escapes where the logical, common sense strategy is not the right one.



I picked up Phoenix Point during the Christmas sale. I'm considering doing a blind let's play, if anyone would be interested.

If you stick with xbox controllers, stay away from the elite series s. They're elite pieces of shit. I'm on my third and last. I'd rather buy a logitech next time. My old 360 controller lasted longer than the the so-called elites, and it had seen some rough times. If you go with a hall effect one, let us know what you get and what you think of it, if you wouldn't mind? I've lightly researched a few but saw mixed reviews and QC issues.

I have it. It's well done. Personally I think it works better on handheld with the mapmaking stuff but it's implemented well and it's been nice playing the games on a bigger screen. I'm nearly finished the first one. Expensive, but worth owning.

Got a pair of games to ask about:

First is Ubisoft's For Honor; namely, does anyone here play it these days? I stopped playing sometime after Gryphon dropped; I know Ubi's been shoving a bunch of woke crap into the game, like the all-female Muslim Afeera, but does anyone here actually play the game? Is it really worth getting back into?

The second is SMITE, a MOBA made by Hi-Rez Studios. I never was one for MOBAs, but I was thinking about getting into this one; question is, is the game itself any good?
 
ill have to reinstall it but i play it here had there on Pc every once and a while and just shits stomp people as shigoki so id say not much has changed

Been thinkin' about getting Red Dead 2 after beating RDR1 a few days ago, though from what I've heard opinions vary if the game's worth the asking price or not so I turn to you kiwis to decide if it's a buy or pirate ordeal.
