There's four games - Travis Strikes Again came between 2 and 3 - and opinions vary wildly on which of the sequels are good or best, but the consensus is that none of them come close to the first.
IMO, TSA and 3 are decent, with 2 being the standout worst, but they're all worth playing at least once.

You are telling me that the people who are fans of the game that they love because of it's handling on the topic of sexual assault and rape ARE NOT fans of a product depicting the victim?!?!?!

They REALLY want to market this game, but they realized that they really can't when the mascot of the game is a literal sex abuse survivor.

All I can say if, if this shit starts to be acceptable, I want a plush of that one girl from the original I Spit On Your Grave.

Didn't stop anyone from drawing smut of the character, which is I think what set a bunch of them off last year. If they really wanted to make some heads explode, they'd release the figure in a swimsuit. The horny market is way larger than the care bear one.

Re-read all the notes/tablets that you have. Read them carefully. Go to the places they mention, or places like they mention, and think for a while. La Mulana becomes a bit of a Mystvania and that's a different kind of hard. Fantastic games and like you said the soundtrack is great.
 
I just finished Crysis 1, what a trash horse shit that was. The half the game is being forced to play with the worst gun. By far the most tedious ammo shit I have ever seen. There are like 10 unique bugs that I have never seen in any other game. Physics are cool, the island vibe is nice. There is serious epidemic of gassing up mid games.

But the reason I'm making this post is because of graphics, the first was Mafia 1 remake now this. I have to change the colors just so I can see what's going on yet still looks disgusting. I didn't have this problem with Borderlands 2 or Apex Legends. I'm pretty sure the problem is with my up-to-date drivers I assume but no one talks about it so I'm really confused and looking for a solution.
 
I can't believe soyjacks and redditors are actually defending the graphics and performance of the most recent Pokemans game.

Here's some PS2 games that look better and also don't run at 20 fps and crash all the time.

Funny you say that, Myst/Riven is next on my backlog after La-Mulana 1 & 2.
I have made it to the point where the
"Alternative version" of every room
opens up. I have a few ideas as to what to do, but no access to the items yet. Like
using a spear on the smiling face inside the Twin's Labyrinth
but can't get any spears yet.
 
Man, just yesterday was the 20th anniversary of F.E.A.R., and today marks the one for Shadow Of The Colossus and Quake 4

Between those three, Resident Evil 4, Devil May Cry 3, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, God Of War, Ninja Gaiden Black, Haunting Ground, Killer 7, Mario Kart DS, TimeSplitters Future Perfect, Psychonauts, Call Of Duty 2, and Kingdom Hearts 2, 2005 was really one of the best years on all of gaming huh?

Makes me feel both old and melancholy, give how nowadays, we are lucky to ever get stacked years like that again.

And people wonder why we rather receive good/bad remasters of games we know than "Uhh magical indian girl with a talking glove gets sent to fantasy-land where white people are evil".

Speaking of remasters, was about to say that Spyro is cozy; 10-12 mins to 100% each level. Then I got into a trolley segment and it's like 6 minutes on rails with insta-death and no checkpoints. Fucked off after that.

Modern gaming needs to win us over. When we were kids the majority of us couldn't afford every game. Now we're adults, it's more satisfying to play through the shit we couldn't play as kids. Why eat up this modern slop made by people who clearly have something against us? Something to "teach us" about how bad we've been? Fuck it. I'll just play the shit I couldn't afford as a kid.

Exactly, why give 70 goddamn dollars to people that HATE you, than emulate Godhand, Sly, Timeplitters, Bloodrayne, Destroy All Humans Etc. I don't think I've bought a single game that released this year. It's all soulless, boring, made by committee, money grabbing slop.
