Nope, I remember it very clearly. It was a racing related quest, the character that gives it to you is also a tranny, Vin just noped the fuck out. It's on the fullsauce channel but I don't know which part.
And I what exactly is the Joel sims thing? I remember something similar happening with him, but it was animal crossing.

Unfortunately it's not quite as overt as everyone said, but I was looking for it too. He still fucked about as usual before refusing the quest, and his response genuinely makes me think he really didn't recognise/give a shit about the janny flag. He does cut it off fast though, for what it's worth.

Jobel hails from a land of rotten fish and drinking, the fact it took a while for the sauce to kick in instead of being 100% nullified is a miracle.
 
Seriously, what is UP with Vinny? Am I the autistic one? I mean, redundant to ask all things considered; but still, he's laughing a lot more and is reading and saying a lot more stupid shit (mostly in a good way) than he used to. It's like the exact opposite of his man periods he'd have.

To elaborate further; like 17 minutes into his most recent and currently live VOD; he goes from a late cummer joke into a Twitch e-girl joke into a blaming chat joke within less than 30 seconds. I'm dead serious. I don't know what to say, unironically.

I know some of the jokes people make are that Vinny is the REAL deranged streamer and not Jerma...but I'm starting to feel like that's less of a joke and more actually the case.

Getting sick of having to conform only to get their private matters divulged can change one's mindset on how to interact with said audience. Not to mention having to suffer through covid. It's basically like "midlife crisis+". He's mellowing out and not worrying too much about what his audience thinks as he's distanced himself from relying directly on them and constantly keeping things "vanilla". If things start going a bit negative, he'll most likely pull back a little but right now, the few that have a distaste for it can leave over time as it's not like he's looking to grow his audience, and the few that might dislike him his opinions can leave as well.

It's not even that, Vinny was NEVER like this. Not back in 2012, not back in 2016, not back in 2020; I honest to God can say I have never heard him act this way before. So yeah, I guess midlife crisis+ sums it up.

IDK some of it is pretty close to 2011 and 2012 Vinny from my recollection. While it might be a bit more often now because we have more people posting that type of stuff unlike then so it's a mix of more of it + not giving a fuck + mid-life crisis

Was honestly a nice statement. I am glad he still appreciates that there are some very talented people in the community who did NOT draw weird art.

Some cool Sunshine art that randomly found it's way to my timeline was initially how I found his stream way back when.

But yeah, most people can probably read between the lines here, a lot of the artists were making art to get noticed, and had this weirdo sense of entitlement in the community.

I haven't really watched many streams since his Xenoblade pre-recorded and the Resident Evil play through but things *seem* to have improved.
 
Don't give him more credit than he deserves. He took WAY too long to actually acknowledge this shit, and it's still going on in other places like Discord and the like, which likely wouldn't be as much of a deal if that shit wasn't officially endorsed/had moderator involvement. This has always been one of Vinny's fatal flaws as a person. A complete inability to put his foot down unless someone has the equivalent of a gun right against his head.
 
Apparently the Stray streams were a shitshow. Vinny being a dumbass and not paying attention, focusing on Chat more than anything else, being weirdly critical of something that there was no way of knowing it would blow up as much as it did, assuming the worst out of people who just wanted to make a game and put their adopted cat in there; just overall not a good time.
