Tsukihime
I always felt like, besides Arc, Tsukihime is pretty lackluster with heroines. They aren't really bad, but not as interesting as the lore and psychological horror. Ciel is especially a character that feels like the author tries too hard to make her unique and it just makes her too unfocused.

I like Kohaku. She's Sakura done right, more or less You're right though. Arcueid is ultimately the one with the greatest influence on Shiki himself.
Never liked Ciel. Always thought she was a two faced bitch (i mean, she has her reasons but still).
Wasn't she the most unpopular Tsukihime heroine by a large margin?

Playing Summer Pockets and I'm scared dudes. Virtually every heroine dies without the protagonist input, which would be a massive plot hole since they appear fine on other routes. Starting the Elka route and you have a character that is complete 180 from how she was beforehand. I have feeling that either everyone is dead and now I'm playing the prologue to it, or it's all a dream (of course there's the change for a mega route saving everyone).

Okay I finished Summer Pockets and the true ending is really underwhelming, it suffers from what I like to call "true ending heroine" problem. Which is when the game has multiple heroines but the ending pretty much locks you into one for a full conclusion, making the other routes feel pretty pointless besides some background info. Sometimes it's done by the "true" love interest which sucks extra hard because at least with a canonical main route love interest you have some sense who she is beforehand. Summer Pockets is thankfully not the case but it feels extra forced because the true route is a Clannad sort of post story which has dire consequences if other heroines are chosen, which speaking of, have their issues apparently solved in the other routes despite some issues being literally impossible by ordinary means. The true ending itself is a bit repetitive though it did get me tearing up.

It's overall an alright game, not as much as a tear jerker as other Key games and I liked all the characters and most routes. Which makes it a good summer game.

I like Summer Pockets quite a lot. My general stance on it is that it's not quite as good as Key's golden age. But, it's worthy of the legacy. I think the funniest conclusion I came to about it upon reflection is that Hairi is functionally not the main character. He's the character whose eyes we see things through but it is not his story.

Ciel is a cradle robber when it comes to Shiki, lol. Arcueid at least has the excuse of not being human and not really getting humans.

Pretty much. But that also kind of takes away from the game when the entire epilogue has him barely appearing. The game probably should have just gone without a true end and had more interconnected routes instead.

Also Kamome best girl. Tsumugi had the worst route that's kinda endemic to the game's problem where it crams way too much daily events that it becomes more of a countdown to summer's end than passing the summer along, though Shizuku is fucking awesome.

I liked Tsumugi's route. But I'm a sucker for that key trope where they use a vocal song to explain a character's state of mind. That trope specifically is why I think Kurugaya is so good in LB. Song for friends is HALF her character development (and the other half only comes into focus if you know what's happening in refrain, and do Komari's route first) and if anyone hasn't looked up what the lyrics mean in English, I urge you to look and see.

Another anime gives up on trying to convey Tsubasu's character designs.

for while now, and just now do I get some time to start playing them. Which one do you guys recommend me as my first?

Set your expectations properly. A lot of the run time in these stories is characters JUST hanging out. Instead of sitting around waiting for the games to "get to the good part", just take it one moment at a time and enjoy each scene for what it is.

It's Little Busters by the way.
