Viva has the feel of a normie who wandered onto the internet, and then one day noticed something was very wrong with the world. Being a normie, he thought to himself "I must do something aboot this!", and tried to find other people who saw what he was seeing. The group he found are the people he's now stuck with, who are prone to push his worst instincts rather than encouraging his better ones.

There's a big difference between a contractor that does shit like install wiring, keycard readers, pest control, or any other service thousands of other companies need for their operations and a contractor that is building specialized tools for an agency that is +90% funded by that agency.
They aren't a contractor like an electrician, or a pest control company, or even a larger company like UKG.

He's defended Peter Thiel on their show before, way back when the show first made their deal with Rumble (Thiel is a big Rumble investor). It's basic "Defending your Own Interests 101." Barnes is a lawyer/liar and does not give a shit about the truth.

Whitney Webb is fucking amazing. I hope she starts doing podcasts again, but she's been dealing with an ill son and an abusive husband/divorce. I'm glad she's at least doing interviews for other people.

Barnes has talked about how James Corbett didn't know what he was talking about when Corbett criticized the Russian connections to the WEF. Then years later, he couldn't even remember Corbett's name and had to be reminded of it in the chat (can't find the clip for this).

I don't always agree with Webb or Corbett, but both of them have far more integrity, and have done a massive amount of investigative work before they start spouting out of their mouth holes than this retarded fat fuck of a liar does.

Barnes has done a lot to insulate himself from negative results. His "law center" isn't a non-profit because the EVIL IRS will spy on him. Just give him money, fully taxed, for him to do whatever he sees fit. He also refuses to take any cases in Nevada, his domicile, as he wants to shit away from where he eats. In the mean time there are defense attorneys across the United States taking the fight to judges they have to work with daily.

The attitude is just rich for a supposed "populist". He'll run screeching to the defense of some aww schucks Amish selling contaminated animal products, but Lord forbid you think FDR didn't personally invite the Japanese to bomb Pearl Harbor or some other trashy boomer conspiracy.

I think Viva's just angry. He hasn't ever felt that kind of twisted rage in his entire life so doesn't know how deal with it a healthy way. In his mind it's him and the good people against the abstract beast of the Deep State. Problem being that it's not a real thing in front of him, it's news articles or twitter feeds explaining a part of the texture and form of the elephant he can't see. Combine that with his neurotic personality and he can't handle it.

Barnes loves taking credit for peoples fame, he did the same with Rekieta. He had J.D. Vance on the interview show him and Viva have. Barnes thinks Vance is "His Guy" so he'll obfuscate. Viva's Pollyanna-esque (or maybe Quixotic) run for Parliament opened my eyes to how naive and perhaps sheltered Viva was. Dude thought he would make waves and he barely made a ripple.

Its not a legit contractor or a front. Its a mckinsey scam. they are using the consulting scam to get very rich from government incompetence.

It's been a while since I looked at Palantir but at the time they sold software analysis that looked for inferences and connections. They marketed it to police agencies looking for organized crime and gangs. Legit software and smart people. By the nature of the software, government is their only legit customer.

Viva doesn't really push back against Barnes in their streams. When he asks Barnes questions, it almost always feels like a "Devil's Advocate" position. I think that's one really big problem with their show. There's no legitimate adversarial process. Viva got roped into Barnes's ideology early on and seems to view the current world through exclusively through that lens.

Are there any things the two of them genuinely disagree about, to the point where they've had real back-and-fourth? There are other shows/podcasts I listen to where the hosts do fundamentally disagree on some core ideas. I think they make much better, thought provoking content. Viva mostly just queries Barnes for his opinion and to elaborate on stuff.

When it comes to Rekieta, I do wonder if Viva is just eating up Barnes's insane ideas. I can see him legitimately seeing things as "innocent until proven guilty," but does he seriously not see how disgusting it is for Barnes to imply other Law-tubers might be pedos? Is Viva focused so much on the outward political situation of the world that he can't examine the problems with his own co-host?
