So this whole YMCA thing kind of blows up my previous theories about Tyce's legal troubles. I had assumed it was some sort of weird petty theft/con scheme but I can't fathom any way he'd do those kind of tricks at the YMCA. I also think the YMCA would generally make it less likely that Tyce got busted for assaulting police officers or defacing police cars, that sort of thing. Unfortunately... well, it's Tyce, so that leaves us with a LOT of possibilities still.
What's weird to me especially is that Jace says that what Tyce is accused of doing "wasn't even illegal anyway" which means that either A. Jace doesn't understand how the law works in the slightest or B. Tyce was doing something that is in a legal grey area like his "pranks". Knowing them it could be either or both.
Also, if I'm counting correctly this is only the third time Caleb's name has been mentioned in the entire saga, so I'm assuming he's a friend of Tyce's, not a friend of Jace's - or maybe just someone they do not see very often. Maybe it was a distant friend/connection Tyce and Jace were selling to, and that's what got Tyce busted somehow? I'm thinking they could have met at the YMCA to do their deal since it's a local landmark in the middle of Springfield it would be easy for them to get there.
I want to know what this motherfucker did.
Someone is filming this... the camera is shaky and around 3:30 you can hear someone coughing.
Also, Jace uses the scent of weed to cover up his body odor wow
The cough sounds pretty far away. Probably on the other end of the room at least. Contrast it with Jace's speaking. If the coughing person was holding/moving the camera, the cough would be much louder since I highly, highly doubt Jace is sophisticated enough to use a directional mic, given his constant failure to even use a webcam properly on streams (see: fiddling with it for a half hour to get a shitty faux-greenscreen consisting of a picnic blanket) I would guess it was Gail that was coughing in some sort of passive-aggressive gesture from behind his bedroom door as she overheard his declarations of "secret blazing" or whatever. Especially given that this is right before Jace gets his "Gay Note".
Additionally his camera has been shaky before that's really common with shitty YouTubers in the whole "man speaking into camera" genre of vlogging, most of which do not either own a real tripod or know how to use one, I.E. they don't properly tighten it so the view wobbles every time they touch even one of the legs. Jace is usually not too bad in this regard but you see this a lot with the amateur spergs who just speak into their laptop-mounted webcams.
I also cannot see any reason for there to be a cameraman involved when there is literally no change in angle whatsoever and it's just one solid shot. That would be a strange and pointless waste of manpower.
Also unrelated but this is quickly becoming my favorite thing he's ever said
Parents don't need to know! Secret blazing, yo.
