Good question. YOUNG MAN? Check. Christian? Check. But Association? Well, considering how dysfunctional the relationships between the Deagle Nation members are, that's not how I'd describe it.
What's weird to me especially is that Jace says that what Tyce is accused of doing "wasn't even illegal anyway" which means that either A. Jace doesn't understand how the law works in the slightest or B. Tyce was doing something that is in a legal grey area like his "pranks". Knowing them it could be either or both.
I see 3 possibilities:
A) He sold weed, which is totally legal in Deagle Nation.
B) He sold prescription pills, and prescriptions are totally legal.
C) Tyceprank.
D) The YMCA was having a rummage sale of some sort as a fundraiser and Tyce discovered that their security was better than your run-of-the-mill yardsale. Either way, I hope Jace's testimony is publicly accessible. I doubt it will even get to the testimony because he'll probably get thrown in jail for contempt of court for refusing to take his sunglasses off.

Probably. Jace's dad is mentioned to have "dabbled in law before" and Tyce's dad is a "big-shot lawyer". That being said Tyce seems to have a much better grasp on the way the law works than Jace does, if only because Tyce devotes half his life to memorizing petty loopholes in the legal system to the point of being obsessive-compulsive about exploiting them while Jace believes that no laws actually apply to him because he's a Marine.

listen up theres 2 times in this world ok and
type of time #1 when im memorizing petty loopholes in the legal system
time 2 when im analchest #solarpowerblazin #skeleton #pranked #sourpatchkids #matchboxcars
I reckon it's probably nothing. Do you have to be a member of the YMCA to use the facilities? Tyce probably spat on something, cause he's a prankmaster, and got dobbed in by some kid. The whole "court" thing is probably just a meeting with the Y's manager to clear Tyce's name, set up no doubt by Tyce's dad. That's my theory.

Having less than an ounce of marijuana on you isn't a criminal offense in Massachusetts (you get a citation instead) unless you're charged with intent to distribute.
That would explain Jace thinking what Tyce did wasn't illegal (the distinction between "illegal but not a criminal offense" and "not illegal" likely eluding him) and the cops thinking otherwise.
If Jace doesn't think it was really illegal then odds are it's one of those things that is dependant on who is around and how much of a dick you are when you're caught. Like Jace will piss in a bush in public with nobody around, not that big of a deal. Let's say Tyce was hanging out back of the YMCA and decided to do the same thing while someone was around. Indecent exposure. Knowing Tyce he'd turn it into a confrontation. Next thing you know he's a registered sex offender. I think Tyce only really considers the larger laws. He preys on the fact that most people don't to make a big deal of things and would rather kick him out than call the cops. He'd really just need to do something stupid around someone who isn't willing to take shit that day and he's fucked.
Also, Tyce and Jace do amazingly stupid and illegal shit all the time. The thing is they tend to do it in their own homes or around friends. Have they ever mentioned hanging out at the YMCA before?

That would be pretty informed for Jace. He could have done some research for his easy money scheme or his McDonalds dealings. I doubt that it is drug related and I am partial to the theory of him stealing something or reliving himself on YMCA property. I could also see when confronted about this him throwing his Matchbox cars saying "I fcuked your mom" making the situation much worse.
I'm starting to really dread the look of that shirt on him. It's like the Sonichu medallion-you just can't look away, but there's something unsettling about it...
