Voice Actors - Complain about American/Canadian ones, Gush about Japanese ones, I guess

I'm a bit 50/50 on English dubs of anime.
 
Probably a bit late to the party, but I found out fairly recently that Josh Grelle trooned out. I suppose I shouldn't really be surprised.

If anything, it makes the jokes that Armin was a girl a bit more awkward.

Eh Armin was voiced by a girl in Japanese anyway. So it isn't that awkward.

Did he go through with that after all? Last I heard from a few years back, he was on track to troon out, but then backed out of it before he could get anything of substance.

Yet, he still doesn't have an updated real life picture. What a shame.
 
I wanted to take a moment and talk about Grey Delisle.

Political takes aside. I'm honestly amaze how many characters she voiced from my childhood. Like I knew she was in a couple of cartoons that I had seen but I didn't realize just how many she was actually in. She's voiced at least 70% of the female characters I grew up watching as a kid. Her Twitter handler "I was your childhood" holds true more than I thought. I think I heard her voice more than Tara Strong's growing up.

I didn't realize this until I starting googling different cartoon shows and some direct to DVD movies voice cast and she kept popping up a lot. Did I fully realize this.

Honestly despite some of the stuff she has said on Twitter (through from the non political tweets I have seen from her she does seem to post a lot of fun content on her account) . I would love to go to a comic con and meet her one day. I was never sure in the past if I ever went to a comic con who would be a celeb I would want to meet. But recently I think she would be a likely contender.
