Hes not as bad as Yong because he can actually act, but tbh social media "stars" shouldn't be allowed to be VA's. The two leads of the Trails Calvard arc are an example.

That's if they don't have a cushion gig like DS that keep them moving, since Zach Aguilar is very busy in con scene, and doing press for DS. So he doesn't have to stream a lot like Saab does. Even Saab by his own admission has said he makes more money streaming than VA'ing.

Another Person I'm disappointed has TDS is Kate higgins, I went on her twitter last year and I saw she liked Lakota man, BrooklynDad, PalmerReport tweets that trump is 10000% "evul and wanguwous" and condemning people having the audacity to vote for him and she commented on "Fucker Carlson" on her facebook about Tucker's "conspiracies". I'm not reading 43 pages, so sorry if it's been said, but I hate VA's with a passion.

You are hired to read lines. That is it. You didn't write the charcter, you didn't do the art, film the scene etc. You read lines. You read a script. If I read a bedime story to my child I am not CS Lewis. I am just reading a story he wrote.

You are NOT a creator, you may put emotion into a line, but you are just what your postion is, a voice actor.

I don't want your take on the source material, just read the lines.

I agree with you in the sense that their opinion is the exact same in terms of importance or insight, as anyone else that's watching the series (unless they have insider/advanced info on it, which isn't normally the case).

If they want to give their opinions though, they can.

Like maybe a VA is giving their take on the psychological state of the character, because they had to get to that state themselves, or imagine it, in order to perform better when delivering the lines with "genuine" emotion.

That by itself is fair, unless they try to push their opinion as the absolute truth, which I have not seen someone do (but I don't follow this stuff closely).

I actually think some VAs do change a character by the way they speak and perceive their role. There really is a range of talent that is derived from an understanding of character, or a take on them if you will.

One such example is Zack from FF7. The old VA has a kind of resigned tone at the end of the game. Zack's at the end of the road and he knows it, he's just holding onto that last bit of hope to maybe get what's left of his friend back to Midgar and see his girlfriend. He's so close, it's right down the cliff, but when the army shows up he knows it's over. He just wants to go out fighting in a way that would've made his late mentor proud. You can hear it in every word of "the price of freedom" speech. The delivery of those 8 simple lines by Rick Gomez is iconic.

The new VA sees Zack as a hero capable of overcoming an army of people. That while he is out numbered and the odds are against him, that he can win. He's Son Goku or any other Anime Protagonist. Sure later voicing the character he figures it out, but a person's perspective of the person who they are playing will affect their performance often to their detriment or sometimes to their benefit.

I'm not surprised to know Runka Chunk fled to Bluesky with the rest of the TDS fags, but I thought Cristina Vee would be there by now, since he's another insufferable asshole.
