Wes is out of the hospital as of yesterday! I love Wes and have been following the situation very closely as soon as it was announced that he was in the ICU. They still don't actually know why he collapsed but it sounds like he's been fighting health issues for a while.

Without too much Powerleveling, I've interacted with him online and he's always been very kind to me.

I put Steve Blum in the same category as Mark Hamill. Both have utterly iconic roles that you can't deny whatsoever (Luke Skywalker & Spike Spiegel) but they're both pretty woke IRL or at least ever since they got on social media. Still the legacy of their OG roles do lighten things up a little even if have Stage 6 terminal TDS.
 
Has Ellyn even been in anything of note in the last 20 years? Literally the last time I heard her voice was in Genma Wars and no one wants to remember Genma Wars.

xenoblade games has british VAs and they are so much better than most english (north american) dubs of japanese games. Is having theater actors for voice acting better than the regular specialized VAs?
Would hiring from Broadway or whatever would make english dubs made in america less boring and cringe? Or is it all about the voice directors?

I noticed something else in this. John breaks character when Alan starts speaking but only for a second. Ha. And its interesting he doesn't say "oh hey Joshua we're friends" but rather he asks him for a favor, if they could be friends. So basically Joshua has 'the power' to become friends with He Man.

Melendy Britt mentioned that back in the 80s she remembered hearing about a little girl who came forward to reveal she had been molested, and she got the courage to tell someone about it because of the message She Ra and He Man had said in a PSA. The power of television. Jem and GI Joe did this too. And of course Sonic. It is a shame they would never do this with cartoons today, because unfortunately kids are (to them) retards who wouldn't understand it. And because the cartoons today are inferior to everything from before 2010.

The Liquid Violet group are all pretty cool. And yes they are superior to the American dubbing. Go a step further and the Vancouver and Toronto voiceover artists are better than American dubbing as well.

I'd say they are a bit equal, considering Xenoblade 2 had considerably worse voice acting than 1, and i remember some of the VAs in 3 also got into idpol slapfights, like Juniper's VA signaling over how much of a troon they where, or Pyra/Glimmer VAs throwing a fit over Rex getting a harem. I do agree in that a theatrical background seems to make better VAs over the usual social media voice acting beginnings we see today.

The cast was poorly directed in Xeno 2. It says a lot when even the lady who played Faith in the original Mirror's Edge sounds stilted. They were not allowed multiple takes or redos whatever you call them. Rex's actor is busy on that Grantchester show making big bucks anyway. I would say the lone exception is David Menkin, because he was very clearly having the time of his life playing Jin.

Apparently Nia's actress was one of the directors for 3 (?) which would make sense. The Xeno 3 cast was great in it.

Also Pyra/Mithra's actress is the Asian paraplegic in Dead Island 2.

Blum i've met twice at SDCC and he's super chill. Brina I haven't met in person but I keep in touch with her on Instagram. I know they're leftists but they're not as retarded as Marchi, Rial, and the rest of the cancer at Crunchyroll dubs.
