I will say that Mike Haimoto did scrub himself from the face of the internet and got axed for voice acting after Avery Smithhart made accusations of sexual assault and domestic violence towards him. Similar situation with Anthony DiMascio. And with all of those, there was nowhere that had as much publicity as Vic. There are just no standards in this industry. People hire who they want to hire and fire who they want to fire.
We should all know by now that this race-based commentary isn’t about representation or ethics or morals or standards. It’s about power. So it’s not surprising that these actors would be fine with voicing characters not their race but have a problem with white people even voicing white (or “light-skinned”) characters. This didn’t matter twenty years ago; it’s been ruined by these social justice assclowns. It was one of the only industries that this definitely didn’t matter in.

I'd love to believe that Hayter isn't terminally online and ignored all the drama surrounding Flynn and was able to look past it. Unfortunately, it's more than likely purely good business sense. Hayter never had much outside of Solid Snake and hasn't had a big named script since the original X-men live action movies. Flynn despite suing his psycho stalker into oblivion, hasn't recovered to having 15 different roles at a time and is purely coasting off of legacy roles. So it's much better to continue living off of Metal Gear. Did they even get payed for using their archived voices?
