I can't attest to the oil barons or exactly who pushed her to talk about it, but the existence of the Discord is a very public thing that people know about and you can join it yourself without any vetting whatsoever. Finana has seemingly been allowed to join that Discord by her manager to organise Valorant streams with viewers.

Also — and I am aware that people will consider this splitting hairs, but words are important — Finana never actually ever said that 'Trap' and 'Futa' are inherent slurs: in fact she has stated in the past that she likes both of them.

The crux of her complaint was that she feels people misuse the words beyond the scope of their definition, and used the example that during her Gacha streams when she meets a new character, the chat fills up with 'It's a trap' when she doesn't know anything about them. She doesn't like people using the terms when, to her, those characters could actually be Trans, and she becomes indirectly complicit in allowing people to make those comparisons in her chat.

Whether you agree with that or not, or what your opinions on how it was handled may be, it is separate to the facts of the situation being misconstrued by someone who posted that in the thread and then never posted again.
