I love when the thread devolves into people defending and shitting on Vtubers. Regardless of whether you hate Vtubers, this is still something to note because now the troons can capitalize off this as their own win. A win for them is a loss for everyone.

The photo was indeed staged a year after the actual incident happened, but it was so they could capture a pic for a newspaper. Most people know it’s a recreation for artistic sake. Twitter as in the parasocial retards that watch her. Most people don't give a shit about Pikamee, nor have they heard anything about her up until now. The only people who care as much about this are the community surrounding her and at large, and an even smaller portion know the background of her playing Hogwart's Legacy and the backlash. In general, the trannies are receiving much less hate than one would initially think.

I don't blame the masses for ultimately having this as the straw that broke the camels back. For numerous reasons, people were willing to tolerate their presence. Our social causes all turn to grift, the arbiters of society ram things through without the consent of the public and our work and debt drains us of our energy. That this ugly creeping was so prevalent and tolerated only makes sense when so much was stacked against then that they resorted to simply turning off and avoiding the issue. That said, the matter that they finally took on their pitchforks is more encouraging than anything. Even if the final cause was so trifling, it shows that the undercurrent was already there and these abominations have finally overplayed their hand. Let's be glad that the backlash is here and take that as encouragement even if it's not fully virtuous.
