Might be wishful thinking on my part but hopefully the nips learn not to do business with/pander to troons at the very least. I know these days they're very "reserved" and cucked when it comes to global relations but they have to realize this is gunna keel happening unless they take action.

this whole thing has been very interesting to see evolve because i dont think the troons were the main cause for pikamee leaving. but the fact that she was considering leaving this whole time means that the troons and their allies did harass someone who was just trying to enjoy how ever many streams they have left before they moved on in life and that is something that nobody should ever forget.

this whole mess is only happening because a group of people are so miserable that they chose to start going after anyone who played a video game and now they wanna act like everyone going after them is in the wrong. the troons decided to stand under the bee hive and taunt the bees. even if in the end the bee hive only fell down because of the wind they still made the choice to stand there and taunt the bees.

far as i am concerned they did this to themselves they can make all the excuses they want but they could have very easily chosen to not start this whole hogwarts legacy nonsense to begin with. they could have very easily voiced their unhappiness in a better more constructive way. multiple big twitch streamers were planning on playing hogwarts legacy while informing everyone that jk rowling was bad and doing a fundraiser for trans charities. but they got scared away from doing it because even playing the game is bad apparently.

so not only did they try (and fail) to stop people from playing the game they also prevented money from going to charities that protect the very same trans lives they claim are being ended constantly due to genocide or whatever. this whole thing has been a massive failure on their part and has only helped to turn more people who may have been on the fence against them.

as far as pikamee is concerned since she is a vtuber there is an entirely real possibility that she will just come back with a new avatar in another vtuber company. which if she does end up doing that you can fully expect the troons to play victim again about how they were getting harassed over something that in the end was not that big of a deal.

Japanese vtubers are usually media personalities employed by an agency, like C-list pop stars, yes. They have corporate handlers, media relations teams, strict rules on who and what they can stream with, etc. VOMS, the group Pikamee is with is unique because it's literally just a shitlord from 2chan who said "If you wanna vtube I'll make you character designs and we'll go in on a split on the merch" or whatever. It's basically just one guy and the people he's hired to support the streamers he works with. Contrast a group like Hololive / Vshoujo that treats their streamers in the same kind of fresh meat for the ginder way they treat all idol singers in Japan.

The Japanese vtubers are the most profitable superchat streams in the world. Youtube takes 30% off the top. Their agencies take like 70% of what's left. It's fucking insane.

The first vtuber, Kizuna AI, literally had her corporation hire 2 or 3 other girls to stream as her because she couldn't keep up 2-3 streams a day. It got to the point that she finally said fuckit and is trying to break into Voice Acting (but her vtuber agency is apparently trying to cockblock her claiming they own her voice).

Pikamee apparently had been talking about wanting to quit -- burnout, basically -- when all this troony temper tantrum hit. Apparently she's been talking about her neck being hurt from sitting in front of her rig all the time and 4chan was saying that the troonies might have got her real name and targeted "pikamom" who she talks about on stream a lot. It's the throwaway line of Pikamee suffering burnout that her agency said in the JP retirement announcement that the Troons are trying to use to declare they're innocent because yeah even if they TECHNICALLY harassed the shit out of her and doxxed her and targeted her family and all that -- things they accuse us of doing which make us literally a nazi death squad worthy of being murdered in the street in their eyes -- TECHNICALLY she was having doubts about her career already so that absolves them of all guilt.

Problem is fear, hatred and disgust are instinctive, negative reactions. And trannies love those because it justifies their existence. They get to point to it and say “I’m oppressed!” “I’m being attacked like a real woman!” But nothing makes these terminally online people more miserable than non-engagement. Failure to make an impact on anyone. The earnings itself doesn't count other things such as merch or other earnings from places like collaborative projects and the like, so even with such big taking from agency and YT, they can still get some decent payday even if they don't necessarily super big in popularity so long that the merch sells like hotcake. And there ARE some of these vtubers under big corpo name that, depending on the agency, still have that mindset that it's just a neat sidejob and having actual job outside of streaming (if not actual job, then either studying or doing things to focus on actual job, ie, studying as a irl nurse), which could also help their current livelihood.

As for Kizuna, that's mostly because back then the agency still has this mindset that they are like weeb anime character, ie "just find someone similar in voice and tone, people wont notice." But turns out people notice and threw shitfit about it. Next thing you know an entire corporation went under.
