Warframe

Even skipping as many cutscenes as I was allowed the quests was awful. The only one I even remember was ghostbusting some autismo's manifested spergouts.
Did you enjoy the "Learning About Emotions" minigame?

With the dearth of any good new games, I'm starting to casually get back into Warframe too. The shitty Tenno 2FA is shitting the bed though what a piece of shit software preventing me from logging in.

When I typed that I had just spent like 2,5-3 hours doing the duviri paradox quest, this runtime despite skipping as much as possible. I've yet to do The New War and I'm just putting it off until I've got nothing left to do before it because I'm not looking forward to spending 3-6 hours doing everything except play as my fucking frames.

It stunted me that when I searched for if other people found it (and other non-frame quests) such a slog as I did, but apparently "The story is good, actually, so you SHOULD be forced to play parts of the game that have 0 appeal, and you should watch the cutscenes, chud, to learn about the story that covers muh trauma, muh healing, muh self love".
The writing is such dogshit too, AO3/Wattpad level shit.

Warframe is the first game that made me go "Can we hurry it up, I want to get back to grinding.".

Newfag here. I know the Lex is fun, but damn the Aklex is double the fun. It's beautiful how you go from Space Ninja to American Space Ninja. Seriously, I'm not even using my other weapons since Lex & now I'm just playing Exterminate as an Intergalactic Max Payne/Total Overdose/John Woo protagonist. I don't think it's meant to be played this way tho.

One more thing, does anyone know a good beginner clan to join? The clan I was planning to join already got full apparently.

If you like the lex then you should check out the vasto for advanced american action. It even has an akimbo variant. As a bonus the regular vasto can become an incarnon weapon and it can hit like a fucking truck.

me, constantly losing 10x from my Melee Doughty from the Saryn "helping" me with damage buffs

Except Lex is better than Aklex, performance-wise. After I turned my Lex Primes into Aklex Prime, I built myself an extra Lex Prime because it was just plain superior.

I checked & it looks good, I might actually go for it after grinding MR on my Aklex & Sicarius (surprisingly not a bad gun when controlled).
Well, to be fair, the lex can too
True, if going for headshots only, then it's almost like a sniper identifying as a pistol.

Yeah, but you lose the dual-wield which looks less cool comparatively.

Wait 'til you get Sicarus Prime. I would never have catalyzed or forma'd Sicarus, but the Prime version is worth it.

Newfag (& I mean pretty damn new) here, should I get this?

Enter Nihil's Oubliette is now available in the Nightwave Offerings, so you could actually use that thing now.

So now that I've actually been able to play for longer than 20 minutes at a time I was able to check out the new 1999 mods and damn the acuity mods have increases some weapons damage by an insane amount. I was able to turn my battacor from "okay with some help" to "just shoot in a direction" and the tenet plinx seems like its better than the knell for single targets now. But seriously the battacor is worth the investment now and is usable on anyone.

I had picked up WF again after around 5 years of not touching it because a friend plays it, and deleted it again after a month. I am not capable to play it for an hour and just put it away. I started grinding all the things that I had missed (I was still lvl 27 because I had everything when I quit.) I am not addicted to any other game, but when I get my hands on WF I can slave away for like 8h just mind-numbingly slaving away. I have no clue how you guys do it. Funny thing is, that I don't miss it at all after deleting it. This game has taken so much time and it's a game I genuinely don't see anything positive about. I used to and enjoyed doing eidolons (Chroma + Lanka with a near god-roll riven) and theory crafting for max damage.
What is it that brings you guys back? I there a specific thing?

Khora's ass. Also it plays good with a controller so it's a great couch game. That and I have been loving the changes we've been getting ever since steve and co fucked off to do soulframe and putting rebecca in charge. She and pablo at least know what players want.

About fucking time. Very kino. Get that plugin that redirects to indie wikis if you haven't already.
I've had it for months, though it might need to update still to add it?

General gameplay loop. Shooting hoards of mobs with interesting weapons is satisfying. Upgrading my shit to make the numbers more numbery is more satisfying. Building my dragon's hoard of shiny loot is satisfying.

Gameplay (more specifically bullet jump), sometimes when I switch different games, I feel slow AF because how smooth Warframe's movement is, there isn't any game like that, also collecting Warframe's and how each of them are unique is a bonus.

It's addiction. Fortunately, I'm close to burnout, so I'll probably uninstall it again soon. When I get addicted to a game, I play it every waking hour that I'm not at work for 1-2 months, then get sick of it and quit for a year or two.

Yeah, we really want to romance virtual blue-haired, androgynous, ethnically diverse characters.
