I feel bamboozled, I thought we would have gotten a new Zariman tileset or gamemode but Narin is just an additional reward on the Zariman drop tables.

They did nothing to fix the issue of why everyone played Hildryn and then made the gamemode fucking worse for everyone who did play. gg go nextThe math confused me at first, so if you're like me, here's the breakdown on what changed:
Previously:
That meant you could ignore the 3pt total for a warframe and still get the max desireable award on EDA, but if you wanted the pixchips from ETA you needed to run all the modifiers.
- Warframe: 1pt x 3 missions = 3pt total
- Weapon Selection: 1pt each x 3 slots x 3 missions = 9pt total
- Modifiers: 1pt each x 4 slots x 3 missions = 12pt total
- Clearing all missions in Elite: 13pt total
- Total Possible: 37
- Target Points: 34 for the legendary pool, 37 if you want the vosfor (meh) or pixchips (yes!)
Now:
Downside of the change: Now you lose 9pt total for running a different warframe, dropping you to 34pt and missing the legendary reward pool (and the extra pixchips on ETA).
- Warframe: 3pt x 3 missions = 9pt total
- Weapon Selection: 1pt each x 3 slots x 3 missions = 9pt total
- Modifiers: 1pt each x 4 slots x 3 missions = 12pt total
- Clearing all missions in Elite: 13pt total
- Total Possible: 43
- Target Points: 37 (EDA) / 40 (ETA)
Upside of the change: Assuming you can make 1 of the 3 warframes from your pool work, you can ignore 1 personal modifier or weapon choice on ETA and 2 on EDA without missing meaningful rewards.
The relative value of that top end reward on ETA vs EDA (pixchips vs vosfor) meant that previously you weren't missing much by just running whatever frame you wanted on EDA. That's dead now - you miss the legendary pool on both modes for chosing a "wrong" frame.
On the other hand, you can now run a "wrong" weapon on either mode without missing out on anything, hence a lot of comments saying the mode is just going to be Torid instagib now.
It does seem like a pretty narrowly focused swing at Hildryn... like they got so much tunnel vision on "fixing" exactly one balance point that they probably made the overall mode less interesting from a build diversity and challenge perspective. Dante, Kullervo, Rhino, Inaros, Nidus, any frame with some healing and enough blue shards, etc. are now just going to walk through it with whatever meta weapon they want, and I'm not sure that'll feel meaningfully better than frequently seeing a Hildryn in your lobby.
Yeah, I was really hoping Melica's labs would be their own gamemode, but nope! Just an extra tile with barely-audible dialogue from Melica's terminals.I feel bamboozled, I thought we would have gotten a new Zariman tileset or gamemode but Narin is just an additional reward on the Zariman drop tables.
They could have easily had a gamemode called Research where you run samples between terminals within Melica's labs. Make it sort of a mix of Interception and Alchemy where you have to defend terminals as they get analysed before moving them to the next terminal; being able to defend and move more samples at once would allow you progress the mission faster. The fact I came up with this idea about 10 seconds after seeing your comment should tell you how completely washed DE is right now.Yeah, I was really hoping Melica's labs would be their own gamemode, but nope! Given the fucking drop rates of blueprints, you might as well just buy the parts outright. There's probably thousands of players right now convinced they have to farm the new Eximus units to get the currency to buy the parts for her.
I got lucky: managed to get all but her helmet BPs as rewards, then had enough blue kuva to buy the last part (I'm very reluctant to play Void Cascade).Given the fucking drop rates of blueprints, you might as well just buy the parts outright.
Fun with friends, solo can be a nightmare depending on the content. Is the Game fun again?
The core gameplay loop of buildcrafting and moment-to-moment combat is pretty fun, but some of the design choices can make you pull your hair out at times. Overall, it's a power fantasy hoard shooter with a lot of "whoa, that's cool" moments. DE also has a bit of an issue with not properly explaining mechanics fully/properly.Is the Game fun again?
Unironically Trve and anyone who disagrees has never played a raid in any game ever. If the objective requires communication then you should be forced to communicate to engage with it otherwise its gonna be filled with mute gorilla niggers that expect to be carried without wanting to put in any of the effort or even talk.
That's a bit like asking what vehicle someone should recommend. Obviously, each Warframe and weapon has its place and uses. I could be a smart ass and just say "Rhino" (the Honda Civic of Warframe) and be done with it, but I'll give a rundown of some of the ones I use the most and why.
Mesa. Dash in a room, pop your 4, light everything up, unpop your 4 and dash into the next room. Augment mod gives her limited mobility when using her 4 which pairs nicely with Rolling Guard, making her effectively immortal when used with her 3.I couldn't reply to your whole post, but I like a playstyle where I dash into a room, kill everything with weapons with high fire rates, and dash out. In terms of Warframes themselves, do you know of any that have AOE damage abilities or abilities that buff the player significantly?

In terms of Warframes themselves, do you know of any that have AOE damage abilities or abilities that buff the player significantly?
To add, throw on a yellow archon shard for extra parkour velocity. It'll allow you to roll faster/farther making repositioning easier, it's also just really fun to zip around with them.Mesa.
