The NL trilogy made me wanna do the Konrad book. So far it's "makes me feel like I'm schizophrenic"/10. Pretty fun. I'm really liking his brand of crazy. Makes for some humorous exchanges. The autism of the 8th is strong in this.

You ever see the Tropic Thunder bonus content where it’s a Werner Herzog parody of Kirk Lazarus getting in character and going nuts?
My counterpoint is Fulgrim’s six wives and the habit EC warlords have.
Brother if I could find a non-AI generated Salamander ballin', I would post it.I don't get it ... where's the Salamanders livery?
Some might be able to spit heat, but acid? That's the WNBA,How do you know for sure?
Considering most Salamanders are wearing "volcanic ash face," I'd argue that it was the Blood Ravens more than anyone. I mean, have you seen an actual Raven's feather color? They're blacker than the average Salamander. What are you talking about? That dreadnought was stolen.
Without spoilers, you'll get answers to some of your questions in the rest of the novel, others are in Astorath's story.Halfway through Darkness in the Blood. Both Dante and Devestation of Baal were really good. Dante being written as an /r9k/ sadboy is pretty funny. I wish Devastation included more Primaris stuff. Shit take, I know, but if you're going to introduce an entire brand new, meta-changing "thing" like Primaris, and make most of DitB about the Rubicon, then Id at least like to see Guilliman clapping Tyranid cheeks with the Unnamed Sons. Maybe a chapter dedicated to a new Primaris Blood Angel and how he feels prior to and during his transition from Unnamed Son to Son of Sanguinius. The history, the legacy, all of that could've been very cool. Primaris were also in cold storage for 8k years, so maybe something about how Sanguinius and the other Primarchs were seen then, versus how they're seen now couldve been interesting, even if its just fragments of a childhood being taught about Primarchs less as saints and more as real, living (trans)humans.
The black rage also being touched on wouldve made DitB better (so far at least). A new Primaris marine feeling something that he cant explain, that he doesnt want to try and explain, thats implied to be the Black Rage/Red Thirst would make them feel more real. After all, how would the Blood Angel-based Primaris even know what the Black Rage and Red thirst even IS if its such a closely guarded secret of the BA?
A lot of them yeah, because it gets itchy and can cause other problems like getting loose and into the armor's workings when you're stuck living in your suit for weeks if not months from being constantly on-call for whatever threats are lurking. The Iron Snakes don't get much downtime when they're on patrol to take their armor off and let their bodies chill out and recuperate, which is why the first thing Damocles did was hit the day spa to get their bodies scraped clean of god knows how much sweat and grime build up and all their interface plugs attended to, many of which were surrounded by sore and inflamed tissue from all the rough treatment. After they leave one of the younger replacements Damocles picked up has his hair in long ringlets that he needs to carefully pick up and tuck inside his helmet before he puts it on, so its clearly not mandatory. It was an Abnett lore bulb so take it with some salt, but Brothers of the Snake mentioned that space marines used some shaving cream that stopped hair growth for years.
I initially misread that as Lincoln Osis, but since the Smoke Jaguars are about as bad as any of the Traitor Legions when it comes to starting shit for no reason, especially among themselves, it still made perfect sense. That’s all completely normal Traitor-behaviour and Kirk Lazarus as Lincoln Osiris is actually one of the best depictions of the Alpha Legion.
Thats good to know. I just wish that the introduction of primaris into the Blood Angel novels had some of this. I do plan to read Astorath and Mephiston at some point.Without spoilers, you'll get answers to some of your questions in the rest of the novel, others are in Astorath's story.
You do get a bit of it in Darkness in the Blood as follows the waterseller's kid from Devestation of Baal and then some other perspectives at the end of the novel. Astorath's novel has more about their introduction and integration to the bloodline traits, there's a Fleshtearer novel that is primaris focused as well but neither cover in the depth you're after. I understand you were wanting to see them in action in Devestation but at the time they arrive, it's mop up duty and within context of the novel would dilute the impact of the "sacrifice" by the remaining successors.Thats good to know. I can't be the only one who sees Joe Rogan in that third panel. What a goofy, Tony Robbins lookin fucker Horus is.
Speaking of archaeotech, will astropaths be rendered obsolete and fed to the Golden Throne once Gulliman and Mars discover Gmail?I wonder when the Mechanicus discovered the STC for Nair
Fulgrim is the Rudy Reyes of the primarchs. It doesn't make you gay if you think he's hot.have you seen the gaping axe wound on the new fulgrim model? That nigga is a tranny snake now. Quick, someone drop 170$ to kitbash fulgrim into Liz Fong Jones.
Reading The Reflection Crack'd kinda soured me on Fulgrim.Fulgrim is the Rudy Reyes of the primarchs. It doesn't make you gay if you think he's hot.

“Well we’re gonna be used martial law soon enough, you know?”
“Who will they be fighting?”
“Each other, for my affection.”

Based-boy Xantine (based retard) and his version of Chaos martial drama, all caused by him going, “I desire to know what love is.” Apparently Eidolon also has a consort in the 40k-era, which the idea of the Frankenstein-marine getting down is disgusting, even by my legion’s standards.
There’s also Telemachon, “let me kill you it would be so hot” Lyras who cucked ADB’s self-insert.
Also Lucius might’ve fucked himself/an aspect of Slaanesh wearing a mirror of his form, because at the end of the day, she’s just his sugar momma.
So sorry Chad, but this is the 41st millennium and in the 41st millennium, it’s the cracked-out dainty retards who get the (BPD) girl.
If I paint that big mfer magnus and his retard son Ahzek I'm MAKING it your problem tooPlayed a couple games of 10th since its winding into 11th and I think the best time to play is the transition between editions. I had decided to take 10th off years ago because I was wasmt too interested in the direction they were taking the game, kinda the opposite of end stage 7th, but not any better. I have got to say my impressions now though. Holy fuck do they need to tone down the hero hammer. There is just nothing stopping you from having half your army be HQs. It doesnt even matter what other issues I have with the system because everything is warped by hero spam. No system is gonna work if I am fielding mephiston, dante, 2 jump captains, a blood angels captain, and lemartes in a list.
Just gotta find yourself a navigator (they’re free for the taking) or be based enough to get the Assassinorum to send a complimentary state-provided GF.Fuck my stupid 8thcel Nightchud life.
At some point when does personal responsibility come in? Ive said this before, but this is a game meant to be fun. No one is FORCING you to play half your list as heros. You're choosing to do that. And if you're playing against someone that does that, and you dont like it, then you dont have to play with that person. If a game has an instant 'I win' button, thats not bad game design because you choose to press it, its your fucking fault for being a shitter. Jesus half the 'problems' with 10th can be solved with a conversation.Played a couple games of 10th since its winding into 11th and I think the best time to play is the transition between editions. There is a difference someone picking between terminators over some sort of better elite because you think theyre more fluffy for your list. Then to lobotomizing themselves because they have a fundamental problem with list building. Its not really an "i win button" its the basic theory behind list building this edition. If youre going to make up arbitrary list building rules then youre probably just better off playing an older edition. The idea of having a standardized set of rules is so you can actually play the game without having to argue amongst each other which house rules are legitimate and which one are tripe garbage. Its not the same as seeing a Knight army and knowing your army has no AP. Ofc its a none issue playing with friends because we can make up whatever rules we want. "Just play with your friends" has always been a lame excuse and really doesnt suit a game thats supposed to be social. Its essentially the design philosophy of 2 different game clashing, and my assumption is that they dont want it to be AOS with guns. I know they dont want force org anymore, but the road to fixing this would be restricting HQs based on detachment in my mind.At some point when does personal responsibility come in? Fact-checked by actual Cthonian chads. As long as you aren’t a hideous, disgusting retard in ugly old marks of armor and wrapped in autistic hazard stripes, you’re golden.
This isn't a good example to give for a game that has "professional" and competitive play that is facilitated by the creators of the game. Between friends sure I can call you a dick for pressing the i win button and shame you but if money is on the line in a competitive setting it's going to come down to who presses the I win button first. Don't care about 10th problems because I only have 20 dusty suits of armor. If a game has an instant 'I win' button, thats not bad game design because you choose to press it, its your fucking fault for being a shitter.
