The fumes depend on the paint, but wearing your mutt muzzle will help. How dangerous it is depends on the type of paint, but arcylic is pretty much safe. As for how loud it is, it's not very, but if you get a compressor with a tank, it won't be running constantly. For in doors you'd want to buy or make a spray booth. A Diy spray booth would consist of a Amazon box, a pc fan you've set up to be powered by a wall outlet, and a air conditioner pipe leading out the window. But if you wanna get ghetto, wear your mutt muzzle and open the window.

Silver and gunmetal are completely different colors. Hell there are 5 popular seperate types of gunmetal, silver has even more types. That's like saying use bronze to paint brass.
 
I really love the lore behind the Scourged Chaos Marines. If I ever run Tzeentch Marines, I'll probably go for them over the Thousand Sons. That said, their color scheme borders on Chris-Chan level autism. If I ever paint some up, I'm going to go very light on the red.

Does anyone have the HH reading order for the knight errant, Garro/Loken? They keep popping up in short stories but its disjointed. Like Rubio showing up to Baal. Where does he first show up?

For reference I've been reading mainline books in sequence with novellas/short stories as pallet cleansers (I got hooked up with a huge BL pirate dump of ebooks). So for me the last I saw Loken was being buried alive on Istvaan 3 and Garro telling Dorn that Horus broke bad.

Rubio first turns up in an audio drama where Garro recruits him in the middle of the shitstorm at Calth. Loken stays MIA for a while until another audio drama where Garro and the other Knights Errant pick him up and slap some sanity back into him. They republished those in the Garro anthology, IIRC.

I like audio dramas but it seems dumb to not print it. Guess I'm just salty as my pirate stash didn't have as many of those.

Sorta random, but I kind of hate how some people will weather certain models so much that it looks like you rolled it around in dog shit. Then justify it buy saying "dude it's realistic" . Like no buddy, a Dark Angel would almost never look like he has been crawling in mud for a few months unless something bad happened. Imperial fists and 30k iron warriors? Maybe. Like fuck just paint guard if you wanna do that.
