@Caddchef is your expert here but why would you want to? Orks are basically the Mad Max warboys of the 40k universe. Vehicles are thier entire identity. It would be like building a Space Marine army but forgoing the power armor and just using scouts for everything.
My army build has been described as "the regenerating wall of gunz", lots of looted tanks, trakks with supa kannons and boyz screened by kustom forcefield big meks.

Orks can also be ran as dredd mobs and good old fashioned green tides (which are basically an excercise in answering the question "how many boyz can i fit in X number of points") are having a bit of a come back in 8th.

Ever heard of the Snakebites Klan?

Never heard of da smelly, squig riding gitz.

I'm trying to make a solidly fluffy 10th company of marines. Anyone have tips?

Lexicanum and 1D4chan for background. The codex should also have details of the units and equipment used.

So I've got the chapter and color scheme down as I want. Does anyone have experience in using Land Speeders as anti armor units? Scouts don't have a lot of anti armor punch and I'm racking my brain for a solution.

The knight is optional. I added it because it's the pride and joy of my collection.

I have the really, really bad habit of starting too many armies without focusing enough on one. Spread out between both 40K and AOS, it's really a hindrance. It would be different if I were the best painter or a world-class strategist. Anyone else have this problem?

Multiple small armies would be fine. I currently have my completed necrons and I’m half way through my death grand alliance list, once they’re done I’ll be finishing my 30K Dark Angels which are all primed and waiting to be painted.

I got a lot of Blood Ravens, my main force.
I also want a medium sized Admech contigent with them.
I got a small ork army that I want to expand at some point.
And I got a squad of SPESH WULFS because I love em and I want to set them up with the ork army in a movie marine diorama with a dozen marines and a hundred orks occupying a wreck fort.

That's downright reasonable and mature. I am a sick man.

40K
Daemons of Nurgle (main army; only one that's nearly complete)
Tyranids
Genestealer Cult
A smattering of mixed Emperor's Children and Slaanesh Daemons
Marines Malevolent

AOS
Maggotkin
Skaven mix
Moonclan (aka Night Goblins)
Hosts of Slaanesh/Slaves to Darkness
And to top it off, working on a Kharadron Overlords force, which promises to be an immense money sink

Yeah mixing the franchises is usually for those with a lot of time and moneys.

Demon Nurgle/Maggotkin/Deathguard would make a fun collection though . Nids and stealer cults too.

I finally finished painting my death guard the other day. I'm now torn...

Do I buy Typhus? Or do I buy some metal bawkses? Or some artillery units?

Was bored today, so I rewrote the lyrics to "Do you wanna build a snowman" into a Dark Angels themed one.

Lion?
(Knocking)
Do you wanna hunt a fallen?
Come on lets go and slay
I never see you anymore
Come out the door
It's like you've gone away-
We used to be battle brothers
And now we're not
I wish you would tell me why!-
Do you wanna hunt a fallen?
It doesn't have to be a fallen.
Go away, Asmodai
Okay, bye…

Do you wanna hunt a fallen?
Or ride our bikes around the halls
I think some company is overdue
I've started talking to
the Watchers in the Dark-

It gets a little lonely
All these empty rooms

Just watching the heresies pass by-

(Knocking)
Lion?
Please, I know you're in there
Azrael is asking where you've been
They say "have courage", and I'm trying to
I'm right out here for you, just let me in
We only have the unforgiven
It's just you and me
What are we gonna do?

Do you wanna hunt a fallen?

Some awful Disney crossover involving a witch

The whole AoS setting is the worst crap ever of course and the Stormcast/Sigmarines in particular. But that's outside the scope of 40K I suess.

This is more or less the focal point of why I refuse to touch Age of Sigmar: Because they put fucking Space Marines in Warhammer Fantasy. So now the same symptoms as 40k occur where a gorillion Stormcast models and revisions will be released while the other races have to queue up for whatever GW's table scraps have left to spare. Not to mention that now all these characters are wearing fucking power armour lookalikes.

I haven't really followed 40k as of late since they look ready to kill Slaanesh off over there as well; wouldn't be surprised if we get a Warhammer 40K: Age of Space Marines at this point. Still, I hold true to old Warhammer Fantasy and 40K up until about the 13th Black Crusade. I don't think it's going to get much better any time soon.

Age of Sigmar isn't trash because of something that minor. It's trash because it was the culmination of about 2-3 editions worth of GW telling the people who liked Fantasy to go fuck themselves and eat shit. It took a very long running setting that people loved playing, one where many people paid a lot of money to field minis, and threw it down the dumpster for pretty much no reason.

To give you an idea, imagine if you will your army getting wiped from tourney play. Be it Boyz, IG, Chaos, whatever. Now imaging having to buy other faction minis to be able to use your now 30 buck paperweights since they make the majority of the list. And that's the better scenario for you. That would be the fate of your average Bretonnian, Dwarf, or Tomb King player.

That bit is why you as minis players should hate Age of Shitmar.

Oh, I hate that they've literally thrown entire armies out the window and just shrugged their shoulders over it. Who knows what ungodly amounts of money people invested into these factions only to be told they can't use them anymore. Slaanesh players have been consistently screwed over for a while now.

I was just saying there's also a real aesthetic problem with Age of Sigmar. Prior to it, when you think Warhammer good guys, you'd think The Empire with Halberdiers and Flagellants and Knights cavalry and the Helblaster Volley Gun. Now? Move aside mortals, fantasy Space Marines are here!

wonchun-choi-aka-doo-stormcast-khorne-ffartstation-thum.jpg

Above is an example picture: if you don't know what 40K is, you might think that's a damn Space Marine, and why not given how that Chaos guy looks? If it wasn't for the mail underneath it looks like power armour, with little visual distinction like old WHFantasy to clearly place it in medieval times. Orruks (stupid rebranding) seem to mostly have new models where they all wear large metal suits when previously you could see how low-tech and undergeared they were. Steampunk Dwarves? Well...the less said about them, the better.

I didn't mind some of the events that occurred in The End Times. It's just the product that's been vomited out on the other side leaves a lot to be desired.
