Also ninjon painted a mini with own blood. What possessed him to do this I have absolutely no idea but it made for an interesting watch.

Found pictures of the last Marine i ever painted on an old HDD, 2017 according to EXIF. Was supposed to be a Blood Angels Successor Chapter, had plans to paint Sanguinary Guard in bone and Death Company with a white basecoat. Then life happened and i haven't held a brush in five years. Pricepoint is what holds me back from returning to the hobby, especially with how hard it is to come by a Based Chinaman recaster contact nowaday, i remember when his info was part of every /40kgeneral/ OP on /tg/.

Blood Angels?
Looks like a Dark Angel to me.

Blood Angels successors, ever since 2nd Ed. i painted My Guys™ instead of official GW colour schemes. That Vallejo green i used was pure magic, too, one coat on grey primer is all that's on that mini, plus edge highlights and a wash in the recesses of the armour, i think it was Army Painters not-Agrax. DA's wouldn't have differently coloured pauldrons, too, i planned on making my own decals to put on there.

WIP redemptor dreadnaught is slowly coming together. The brush lines are killing me but I can glaze over the green panels on the torso to get rid of them.

Had my 1st 9th edition game today. Deathskullz vs Custodes, 1k point armies. Managed to kill 1 custodea and 2 bikes, rest of my forces got mulched
Deathskulls aren't in the best place right now, unfortunately - their rerolls got nerfed into oblivion with the 9E codex. Goffs are probably the strongest kultur now since the exploding sixes in melee still reliably boost damage if you can get to krumpin' range, though Evil Sunz works well with a Speed Mob.

That said, Custodes are a tough fight pretty much all the time.

I'm generally not super up to date on Warhammer because goddamn I cannot afford to play it but when I heard they made an actual army list for Custodians that cracked me the hell up. First they introduce Primaris then they basically slipped in a powercreep for the Grey Knights too. You know just in case there weren't enough slight variations of dudes in power armor.

Ye, but I kinda like Deathskullz, so decided to go with them even if they got nerfed. I originally was gonna make Blood Axe's, but couldn't figure out what their paint scheme should be, so went with Deathskullz and Badmoons.

To be fair, Custodes had models before the Primaris came out. And they do play significantly different than Space Marines. They do not have long range heavy weaponry, only one transport option, and no psychic offense. Position your army correctly and you’ll beat them through objectives even if they will tear most of your forces apart in melee.

Custodes have one of the better long range heavy weapons in the game in the caladius grav tank. They also have 3 transport options.

Custodes with Forge World have that. Custodes without Forge World have foot troops, a Rhino, and DETERMINATION.
Half the army is forgeworld and those forgeworld units exist to clear the very obvious gaps in the codex.
