Got some time to paint again and I’ve made a tonne of progress on my Redemptor.

I’m still undecided on how I’ll be painting the sarcophagus and surrounding wires but the model is at the point where it would look acceptable on the table.
 
Someone convinced my FLGS to pick up the entire Custodes line because "oh yeah I'll absolutely buy them." Then the little shit just... didn't.

Oh well, more for me. I haven't picked up the combat patrol box, but I did get the Custodes half of Shadow Throne off eBay. That and some other random stuff I already have and I might have ~1000-1500 points of not-entirely competitive Custodes.

... I need to find a wholesale supplier of bulk acrylic gold paint.

Speaking of the Primarch novels, is there any chance that hard copies will come back via MTO?
I missed out on getting Lorgar's.

I was so sad to miss out on that! Most of the limited eds I really wanted were lost to me from being too busy to immediately check emails, but at least I got the one for Sigismund. Would've loved Ahriman and Kharn though.

I also got the limited edition for Sigismund. I really like the styling on that one. The cover just feels nice.

Just for fun I timed approximately how long it took for the Dorn LE to sell out. I got my copy at 12:55 local time and it was gone by 1:16. Nowhere near as quick as Alpharius (that one was gone in maybe eight minutes), but definitely one of the faster sellouts I've seen. I think Siggy's was around for like an hour and twenty minutes.

It's funny, though, because I remember that some of the other Primarch LEs stuck around forever. Ferrus and Angron were available for months and they wound up doing a bundle with Vulkan's mini and his LE to try and move copies.
 
Supposedly Squats are coming soon. Wonder if they'll have a big launch box for them.

I know I shouldn't, but christ, I want to.
