My first successful canoptek wraith proxy print. Still haven't printed the belly weapon for it yet. I also have the option to add a whip but this resin might be too fragile.

So, small question. Gonna be takin part in a tourney at my local store fo like 2k points. Will bring my Deathskullz, so heres the question I roughly have 1925 points worth
4 squads of boyz, 2 Weirdboyz, 3 Meks, 1 squad of Kommandoz, 1 Squad of Stormboyz, Battlewagon, Deff Dread, Mad Dok Grotsnik, DeffKilla Wartrike, 1 squad Lootas, 1 squad of gretchin, Burna Bommer, 1 squad of Nobz. Along with various upgrades

So, should I get an Ork Trukk or the Warbikes

Warbikes would have more utility unless you’re kitting out your Nobz to be murder made of plastic.

I'm simply gonna vote Trukk because they look cool. Understandably, you can ignore my vote because doing what seems cool only really works in casual play.

Trukk would be cool, I agree. However, most use I'll get out of it is getting my Nobz to the battlefield faster.

Personally if you're taking a deffkilla wartrike i'd take a squad of warbikers.
 
Does anyone have any good guides for Plasma guns. I'm doing a neon pink plasma gun for my IG and I'm a bit stumped atm.

Someone on youtube did a nice one where instead of doing a glow, they just painted the coils copper colored. It looked rather striking.


Here's a neon pink one, oddly enough, first thing on the search results for plasma effect warhammer 40k.

This one looks insane except, airbrush. And oil paint. Because why the fuck not.


This one has a nice reminder that the heat vents towards the front of the gun would probably also be glowing.

While I like Warbikers and that seems to be the more popular choice, a Trukk packed with the Trukk Boyz specialist mobs has pretty huge threat range - you can move the Trukk, then the Boyz (or Nobz) can disembark and move, shoot and charge in the same turn. Combining that with using Da Jump on the other squads to dump big threats in your opponent's face early along with that jet and I think you're off to a fast start. I think either the Trukk or bikes would do just fine, to be honest.

Look man, you get kickass glowy violet plasma guns in Terminator: Resistance and they are fucking awesome. Especially since pink is the highest possible part of the emission spectrum.

Here's iron's, and I'd imagine certain gases could get close, especially when you add in <technological nonsense> from the AdMech:
