Honestly any 40K TV show will be shit with or without Henry Cavil. Non of these shit streaming service or networks will ever do a proper job adapting the setting.

Take a good long look at Rings of Power and Invincible. Then imagine they do the same with 40K.

At least maybe they can get the gore porn right.

Try directly messaging the 3d printers on etsy. A lot of them are willing to print-to-order.

I don’t know why anyone would want a 40k show. It’s a tabletop game and has book and video games. Nigga use your imagination!

AoS bros Skavens new delete button has just dropped. Put three of these next to a clan Skryre hero and you will wipe any unit you want off the board.

That’s probably what I’m going to do after the codex drops if it’s still a listed unit.

I don’t like the new combat patrol box. 5 sacresants and 10 arco flagellants with no vehicles or heavy support sucks. Yeah, 10 flagellants is better than 10 repentia but I don’t understand the hate for dedicated transport GW has adopted for 10th edition.

It's probably a hold over from 9th when there was an obnoxious harlequin list that involved spamming starweavers, skyweavers, and voidweavers.

Honestly the lore was what made tje game attractive to a lot of fans. GW could just drop a new game with a new lore. Make it an alternate timeline, saying that Guilliman pressed a necron button.

Instead of being a filthy turkish male, the Emperor has now been always a great african woman. They cam handwave the lore, balance it to the tabletop, and age of sigmar the setting.

And most importantly, sell only single model boxes.

They had that with Inquisitor and it failed massively.

which is kinda weird because they have an absolute boner for battleline units right now
That’s what I was thinking, like they apparently made a mission that penalizes you for having multiples of non-battleline units. The dedicated transport is important for that since most armies aren’t hordes and you can’t just walk across the table like with necrons back in 5th where everyone could just slap the shit out of vehicles and peel off rhinos.

I feel like that subway meme fits in here. They literally made this and allowed for it until it became too problematic.

Always like seeing more lore on Necrons.

Nearly destroyed my keyboard with the "Hold on to my fur, I like it" cat had his part. Any of us with someone knows the feeling.
They missed a proper depiction of World Eaters players doing pushups in between turns, excusing it as the “nails biting” and then screaming “NEXT CHALLENGER” after winning.

Or EC players putting speakers in their rhinos.

Or DG players showing up unbathed. Or the word bearers not being able to shut up for a minute.

There's a number of reasons that game failed, and should have honestly been predictable. Cost, lack of variety of characters(yes, the game is "inquisitor" but there wasn't much for the inquisitors to interact with other than... other inquisitors and a couple other models), an utterly ridiculous ruleset involving percentages, division... 4 pages just for movement that were mostly text and a table for the 6 different movement rates that did not include climbing, swimming, etc. Hell melee combat was another 6 pages that didn't even include armor, damage rolls, cover, etc.(those were in an entirely separate chapter)

Normally people want a 3-6 model per side skirmish game they can easily play in under 90 minutes(current kill team is questionable). Inquisitor was for people who wanted a handful of models and a game to take longer than a full 40k game. The best thing we got out of that was some lore and a bunch of art. The game itself... fuck that.

finally getting around to trying my hand at hazard stripes. It's going okay...

might need to thicken the top stripe on the shoulder pad. And fill in the centerpiece of it since it would make the stripes go horizontally to the other side which does not look good. I might orange it out and place a decal there. idk yet

Scored some discounted old Chaos Warriors today, pretty monopose but I love the options in this kit, the old banners are fucking massive and I immediately poached them for my EC. CSM losing banners and god marks/heads was their biggest loss with the update. The heads will be useful too, some are a bit pinheaded but those ones will go to the bigger cultists.

I’ve been (slowly) mixing these chaos warriors with old Mark III arms, bolters, helmets and standard CSM backpacks to create some rugged Blackshields or renegade marines, essentially a Kill Team I can create fluff for fighting anyone.

They’re surprisingly big models.

Looks absolutely sick! Iron Warriors being the neglected step-child of the mini releases is sad :(
