I could absolutely believe Norn King Alex would toss someone under the bus like this. If his friend signed the NDA, he was hired by GW. And Alex apparently wasn't.

No bad tactics, only bad targets.

Probably none that the majority of the fan base trust. If Spikeybits or Bell of Lost Souls doesn't cover it than the majority of the fan base wont trust it. Which is sad because neither of those channels/ sites should be trusted.

A smart person when asked questions about things that are behind an NDA will tell the other person that they cannot disclose information. The guy is just as guilty for letting information out as the other person. Hate to see the bill coming his way in the future.

Well shit, Spikeybits did cover it three days ago.

Reading through the document and it looks more like a non compete clause but written like shit with wording that makes it look like an NDA. It's like they wanted to make two contracts but only had the money to have the attorney make one draft. Either would have been fine for GW to do depending on what it's for in terms of the contract. Three month non compete for an employee is typical, three year NDA is a minimum for an NDA. Each one is different though.

After a long break from Warhammer i almost hopped back in about 3 months ago. Instead I saw Arch's video on GW going hard with the DMCAs and this subscription service. Now I'm looking for a new tabletop game. Malifaux looks pretty cool.

Malifaux books are pretty easy to get. Rules lend themselves for some tabletop gaming pretty easily too. Models can be a bitch to get locally if you like supporting your LGS.

Methinks the troon put far too much faith in his troon card to escape criticism and consequence for his shitty behavior.

Assuming the autism is as terminal as it appears, odds are he is going to try some behind the scenes pivoting to spin his "brand loyalty" and the "hawassment and thweats im getting UwU" to whatever GW drone he snitched to in order to get some kind of invitation into whatever the fuck Warhammer+ is supposed to be

buy what looks cool, play the game you like most. there's no reason to play warhammer if you're just in it for the lore, it's like saying you can only use forgotten realms with dnd5. added perk you can simply switch games and still bring your dudes along (if you ever want to play stargrave or something).
apparently malifaux 3e is pretty good, but tbh I hardly see anyone talking about it. which probably also means no retarded shit the likes of PP where if you hear about their games it's a mix of sadness and anger...

biggest issue will be finding people to play against, so for a starter you need enough models they can play with yours (which might get them into it to buy their own, but no one buys shit blind). skirmish is easier since it needs less models and is usually shorter. or find a game with solo/coop rules (OPR *cough*).

Just checked out OnePage. I didn't know about them. Thank you there's plenty here to scratch an itch and see what i like.
 
I just don't get the troon. It's been building up a meagre YouTube fanbase for the better part of a decade, with the only achievement being the one leading the Arch demonization train, only to sacrifice everything in a move that will, if anything, guarantee GW will never employ it.

The criticism of Arch has never been his accuracy, has it? I thought the entire reason Arch was so controversial is that he's to the right of Mao and refuses to be silent like those totaly-not-political guys at Sigmarxism think he should be.
